The military wouldn't work if every Joe thought their opinion of how to approach a mission mattered. And they drill that into your skull from day one.

      @lotusinn3 4 роки тому +58

      pixpusha Oh wow. I can see the logic in that though, you’re right about that. If every service member thought there opinion mattered, it would be chaos. Just like the chaos that comes it experiences as a civilian, with everyone thinking their opinion is important and valid just because it is their opinion. I come from a military family and have always felt a pull to the service, it’s always nice to hear from actual veterans about their experiences, good or bad. Also, thank you for your service!

Some audience members tried to launch but abruptly stopped. It is really an interesting character combination. Person who thought about this is a genious. the spider metaphor is about melania being afraid to speak to others and how shes worried about her surroundings. people expect her to be the perfect person so he never opens up about her feelings (thus her caging the spider in a small box). when she finally met the man she was talking to, she gave him the spider along with a thanks (to symbolize that she finally got to open up to the person who listened to her and that shes no longer afraid of speaking). he opened the box, the only person who listened to her, because he was the person she opened up to. he opened that box up for her, and the spider that she feared would crawl out.

    That was some solid sketch. SNL doesn't necessarily have to make comedy sketch all the time

      Well ProffessorX, it's SNL, and when I used to watch, it was funny. Well those were the Chris Farley & Will Ferrell days of course.

      As a European kid with an Arab surname who had to spend a few years in the USA, I came to understand that "I am a US citizen!" yelled at the top of one's lungs, was always the start of an incoherent angry monologue from a dumb fuck with zero knowledge of other languages and countries.

      Yeah what's to be attracted to? Who would want to be with an alpha male with endless money and power who can't stop winning? Poor woman.

      toddsmitts actually not sure of that’s true. They settled at first which is normal even in cases when you’re right, because that would be bad publicity and would cost a lot.

      Melania wore a pussybow blouse to a debate after comments made by her husband about groping women were released. She wore an “I really don’t care, do you?” jacket while visiting undocumented kids being detained at the border. You can’t tell me that Trump made her do those things, or that she’s innocent in all of this. Men always want to make her seem like she’s this helpless, docile little doll Trump drags around everywhere behind him because she’s beautiful. No woman Trump has ever been involved with was weak. All of them had strong personalities, even Marla. Cut the crap. She knows exactly what she’s doing, knew exactly what she was doing when she married him, and no, she really doesn’t care. 🙄
