You know what would be great? Quiet calling yourself an idiot. I am 50 years old and have made mistakes and gains through life, get over the mistakes and kill the gains! You guys rock!
good change, and good on Allison for dropping weight, when young being heavys not good as it leads to obesity later,i know it has nothing to do with brakes lol.but shes on a mission and i applaud her for getting slim for health reasons.
I pull for you and Allison harder than I pull for anyone.you guys put in work.youve got the whole country rooting for you. Now I'm motivated to get outside and get to work myself.
You should be proud of yourself because we all are. For someone not knowing what to do at the beginning you sure have done a bang up job Tommy. God bless and as always be safe.
So many companies stepping up after showing them how serious you are with this build. I absolutely can’t wait to watch that sucker rip. Congrats Allison keep pushing!
Mr. Tommy.Thank you so much for a video without cuss words. In it when I can sit down and watch a video with my family in the room. That means a lot to me.I love racing.I love what you all do.Keep up the good work god bless
Tommy, you have come a long way in the last few years. Congratulations on your new build. That truck is going to be the envy of all of us trying to build ours
DUDE TOMMY, YOU ARE THE FUNNIEST COOL CAT EVER! I laughed sooo hard when you were spray painting and quoting Dalton from Pole Barn Garage. "Rebuilding..... rebuilding....rebuilding as your spraying the paint 🎨. Always a fun moment with Tommy! Keep up the good work 👍. Great video 📸. Have a good day today! Thanks.
Everyone has their own way of packing bearings but the most important thing is that there is grease in every crevice of the bearing. Remember there’s no right or wrong way as long as they are fully greased. Keep up the good work Tommy.
Impressed how you dive into new things and learn. I learned basic mechanical skills in the early 90's, either I figured it out when stuff broke or walked because I didn't have the money to take vehicles to a repair shop, I never walked anywhere. Keep up the good work.
Tommy your getting better and better each time I watch you work on your truck it's nice to watch your progress. You and Alison work great together good job you 2
This build is coming around 3 shops and 2 driveways. Some Vicegrip restore, some Polishing turds,a stolen Tin Soldiers. Sweet. What a beautiful friend you have.
Tommy that truck is coming along man, you’re not an idiot man you’re just learning and figuring out what works. There’s no manual or instruction book on how to build a vehicle, luckily you’ve got your family to help you out and teach you on stuff. My dad taught me when I was a kid how to work on cars and I greatly appreciated it, now I’ve built many cars and still building. Keep up the great work Tommy it’s definitely getting there.
no such things as mistakes! Just leaarning experiences! Mistakes are for those who keep repeating the same old learning experiences! You guys are killing it!
Tommy you are doing an amazing job on that 1500. Never really cared for the full size trucks, but damn you got me looking for one. Keep up the good work.💯👍🔧🔧🔧
Tommy, keep hup the good work! You & Allison make a good team, & both of you are learning a lot. Happy for your progress on the OBS & look forward to seeing it make a pass. I saw "shope supervisor Vicki" making an appearance. She always seems to have a smile on her face!
Great Job Allison you look great! I've been on a Paleo diet and going 5 miles on the elliptical 4 days a week. Down 44lbs since July. Tommy buddy it's Time to hear this thing run!
Impressed with your growth Tommy. Impressed with Allison as well. One thing, stop running yourself down, you are willing to work and learn, that takes courage and desire, most of your generation has a serious lack of that. Keep on moving forward.
so glad I'm not the only one that ends up with bearing grease on my shoes, the floor, elbow, pants, shirt, and anything within 2 miles :) Those are some sexy brakes. It's almost a sin to cover them up with a wheel. Not all heroes wear a cape, some wear a Strange embroidered polo or t-shirt. Keep up the good work. Ol OBS is gonna ride!
I really appreciate Tommy’s ability to be able to admit he doesn’t know but he’s learning we all start somewhere it’s nice to see someone just figuring it as they go along and not acting like an expert
You learned alot working on this truck and that's what I had to do when I was younger my oldest brother knew nothing about cars my dad knew enough to get by and the other brother was always doing his own thing. So what I didn't know I had to figure out . There was no you tube back in the 70s so there was some trial and error but sometimes that's what it takes to get the job done you never stop learning. Good job Tommy. Thanks for the video
Keep up the great work Bro. Your not stupid, your learning. Stupid is when you can't figure out how to jump start your car. Back in my day, if y'all didn't know the basics of your car. You didn't get to drive.
Tommy & Allison keep up the great work you 2 are doing awesome ,the truck is coming along pretty fast now. Tommy can't wait to hear it spinning them turbos 😊
The truck is coming together nicely! I like the intake it looks good and the position of the throttle body is nicer than some I've seen. Can't wait to hear it run.
Tommy that truck is going to be nasty and the absolutely best part is that you are going to touch every piece of it and you’ll know that truck better than you know the back of your hand
Very proud of you Tommy and Allison I’ve been watching all 3 channels for while now and you guys are amazing to watch doing ur thing on all the cars and trucks keep up the great work good luck in #25
To me .. building a vehicle is alot like putting together a puzzle … the cool thing about building a vehicle is you get to put gas in it and enjoy driving it … i also enjoy watching you build yours . I hope it runs better than you expect it to .
Love waking up from a nap to new truck build content. Truck is really coming together, almost there. i cant imagine how exciting it is to almost have all your hard work come to fruition. First Tom built car from the G2G, certainly not the last
You and Allison do a wonderful job of behind the scenes. The whole family does.Watch you all. Can,t wait to see how the duster is coming along.thank,s . happy holidays to you and yours.
You're skill set is growing fast. Glad to see you building your truck, it's coming out badass. Wish you could have kept the stepside, but it still looks killer with the fleet. I don't think you realize your truck is turning out to be on of the nicest vehicles in the stable. Hats off. Only one suggestion. When you assemble a brake kit, steering and suspension, use a torque wrench and torque to the specs. 👍
Once this is done, its time to get on that s10...you may not have felt conected to it before...but its got all the pieces it needs for you to put it together and upgrade it and make it yours and to feel connected to it more so. Plus its 800lbs lighter with a fresh paint job and no rust!
When the co-owner of the company's $50,000 engine eats a throttle blade screw, you make some changes. Ever since Cleetus' engine ate one of those at World Cup in '23 or '22, I think they've been tacking those screws. When you're putting in those O-ring seals like on the intake, don't slide your finger along on it like that. It can stretch it and cause it to bunch up at the ends, and you'll trim it to fit, then it'll relax later and you'll end up with a boost leak you can't find. Just push them in gently with a straight down pressure. Work your way around until it's all the way in.
Nice video. The brakes look great. I saw you feel for play, I just spin them and you can feel the point it starts getting harder to turn then just back them off until they spin well. Anyway that’s the method I use.
You know what would be great? Quiet calling yourself an idiot. I am 50 years old and have made mistakes and gains through life, get over the mistakes and kill the gains! You guys rock!
Tommy! Come on brother pump your videos out before your brother and your dad. You're the rockstar of the family. Keep it going
Amen
💯

I pull for you and Allison harder than I pull for anyone.you guys put in work.youve got the whole country rooting for you. Now I'm motivated to get outside and get to work myself.
You should be proud of yourself because we all are. For someone not knowing what to do at the beginning you sure have done a bang up job Tommy. God bless and as always be safe.
Out of all the builds in the src fam this is probably the one I’m most excited for! Happy for you Tommy can’t wait to see you rippin it

It took me a second on the “ hero” bit. 😂😂. Funny stuff right there
Impressed how you dive into new things and learn. I learned basic mechanical skills in the early 90's, either I figured it out when stuff broke or walked because I didn't have the money to take vehicles to a repair shop, I never walked anywhere. Keep up the good work.
