One thing about it Tommy all the time and effort you and Allison has put into your truck at least you can say it was done by you guys love all the channels
I was very happy to see Tony make a guest appearance in this video. Tony always encourages Tommy. He will not let Tommy beat himself up for learning or being young.
Wow Tommy-- you've come soooo far in your abilities just in the past year. The fact that Tony is over there helping you shows that you've gained his respect as a true builder/racer. And the fact that you and Allison are learning and doing it all together is way cool ! Reminds me of when my girlfriend would help me with my racecars and go to the track with me and jump right in and get dirty when she needed to. I was doing asphalt, dirt, and ice, roundy-round at that time. But yeah, it makes me happy to see how far you've come, even with some of the tuning on the Falcon lately. You've got a great future ahead of you !!
Always happy to see Tony show up. He is one of Tommy's biggest cheerleaders. That speech he gave Tommy at "Da Pad" when Tommy wheeled the Falcon to a 2nd place finish behind Frankenstein was very nice and sincere. Tony is straight up a good person.
Hey mate don't be so hard on yourself, we all learnt by making mistakes , doing things the hard way except none of us did it on camera!! First start up,first drive and first race will be so rewarding, it may not be the best but you did it yourself, be proud
Watching your knowledge/skills grow gives me hope!!!!! Keep on killing it!!! NEEDS A DART VADER UPDATE!!!!!! please sir, once things settle down and yall have time
You two are doing an awesome job! You will feel so accomplished when you are done! Not everyone can build a whole new truck from scratch! You are learning as you go! I wish you had more confidence in yourself Tommy! You're a lot smarter than you give yourself credit for!
You guys must be burning the oil pretty late working on projects, both Tommy and Allison have lost a bunch of weight! I know guys are not supposed to mention weight but this is a compliment! The truck is looking REALLY GOOD guys. Before not to long it will be warming tires up! Fabulous video both of you.
Dude your welding skill's are ok, Don`t listen to anyone about how you do things. As long if it is structurally sound and the welds don`t look cold to me, That`s all that matters, just paint over them and keep making progress on your project. Good for you guys. Good Job brother. Hands on is the best way to learn and trial and error. It made me successful for 22 yrs. Peace guy`s
I remember when I did my first off frame restoration truck. I kick myself in the ass for not realizing what my dad was giving me. Love watching yall brings back memories! ❤felt
Mr. Two guns you absolutely killed in that intro with the song!!!! 😮 Brought me back to another time!! Love the videos from you and the entire Gen 2 /SRC/OMG family. From a little tiny town in Montana Saltese population 35 if we are lucky!! 😅
I absolutely LOVE 💕 TONY! He's a real deal cool guy that's old school. He always helps out and entertains. A real amazing guy! It was sooo funny 🤣 when he mentioned how dry the head was after the instal and he mentioned how the heads are, "Drier than a 77yr old women!". I laughed 😂🤣😅 sooo hard and it really made my day. Tony is a natural comedian and he doesn't even know it? Keep up the good work 👍. Great video 📸. Thanks.
Tommy you are killing this build i like the blacked out firewall. Your definitely doing better then you give your self credit. Allison you as well you two make a awesome team
Everyone started somewhere you just started so keep working on it and you will be riding and working on it some more! You are doing great and the help you get is a bonus.
Tommy and Allison you two always have such great content , I dig the obs build something a little more obtainable for some . Great job ready for more. Hi friend from California, hey Billy .
So glad y’all tried drag and drive. I had a hankering if the family/team did y’all would love it. Hopefully it exposes y’all to more people and your channels grow when people see how good of people your family/team is.. Allison, you need to get Jeffaffa fired up and on the ball to make the Duster into a drag n drive machine for him and shop supervisor. The truck is looking good Tommy. You and Allison have come a long ways and you should be proud. When you 2 kids are running it down the road you will be standing in tall cotton..
I think you are doing an awesome job on this truck. this is definetley the best way to learn. I built what I thought was fast vehicles while learning. then I started hanging out with people that knew what they were doing and realized what I knew and $1.50 would but me a cup of coffee at McDonalds. I wound up building an S10 in 2008, with the help of friends and family, that ran 5.50's and even made one pass into the 8's thru the 1\4. All this while keeping full interior and kept it completely streetable. Ran the True street class with the NMCA some with it. Let me tell you the way you are doing this is the absolute best way and I know that you are surrounded by knowledge that is going to lead you in the best and safest way. Best of luck and you and Allison keep the content coming.
Tommy we all have to start somewhere bud as it took me two decades to get my head around this stuff. Didn't pull my first engine down till I was 19 yrs old & now can rebuild most with my eyes closed. Keep up the good work as I'm following this truck as I want to see how well you do.
Tommy I'm proud of you for building this truck mostly by yourself and doing a good job at it also learning as you go. I love your truck content and Allison's Dart content hopefully that will be the content from now on
Bro I’m gonna be honest and I say I am more excited about you building the truck than anything else being built. Have more confidence bro you’re killing it!!!!
Truck is looking good Tommy. Really cool you have your brother, girlfriend and friends helping out putting it together. More eyes on it usually less mistakes made. Keep up the hard work, it'll pay off very soon.
I want to see all hands on deck to help him finish his truck. That would make for some good content watching Tommy roll out of the garage with thst baby thumping! Keep up the good work!
Hey Tommy when you are painting, put a good fan in the door and pull the shop door down on top of it then seal off the rest and itll pull the paint fumes out and also help with overspray all over the shop
Sorry for the late comment ive been working on my obs .Yours is coming along buddy looks like your right at that spot to start putting it together now i can wait. My wife said to let Allison know she looks great keep up the great work. 🤘
Tommy stop down playing what you're doing to your truck dude be proud of what you're doing you're doing it all by yourself and you're doing a damn good job and it's looking good too
I remember getting my first pistol grip for spray paint, I think we painted every bike in the neighborhood, I thought I was an expert but horribly tiger striped the first car I did 😂
Tigger is doing big things. All the doubt in yourself 2½yrs ago that you could ever pull this off. Here we are today and its all becoming downhill to you. You even lit the same fire under my old butt to start on my 69½ A12 Super Bee. Thats not seen the light of day in many years. Been used as a storage rack for the most part. Hey its on jack stands and 100% complete and original. I found in a horse stall 10 yrs ago. Had been but in there in 1978. When i got it home i did the usual stuff to get it rumning. And she fired right up on fresh gas and plugs. My cousin got married and moved into the in laws former home. Lived there 3 yrs. They knew they had stalls under the barn but never went out behind and down to them. When they did. They were surprised as to what his father had left for him. He dont even recall ever seeing it ither. I got the cousin discount and picked up for 18,500 and hug or two. Thought one day id have restored. But no $ to have done right. Figured i can enjoy til that day comes from watching your family vids. Much Love and Appreciation for what you guys do. Helping the lil guy achieve possibilities only dreamed of. Thanks Again
Man, noticing Tommy on the video post, really made my day and brought a smile 😁 to my face. Tommy is such a cool 😎 guy! Keep up the good work 👍. Great video 📸. Thanks.
@gen2garage you can swap the inner door panel that the window regulator is mounted to without replacing the entire door unless the doors themselves are needing a lot of body work
Nice Tom, you have to remember if you don’t scuff it up enough it will flake off later. I know because it happened to me. Just sayin. Painting in colder than about 65 degree temps can cause an affect called “Blushing” and it’s not pretty. Just a little advice. You two are doing great, good luck.🏁
One thing about it Tommy all the time and effort you and Allison has put into your truck at least you can say it was done by you guys love all the channels
Tommy you and Allison always kill it..

The fact that you can use a song like Green Day's When I Come Around without having to worry about copyright strikes now is wild and I love it.
Keep learning n doing your thing, at the end you'll have such an appreciation for the time and effort you put into it.

Calvert Racing makes nice steel lowering blocks that are made to be stackable if needed.
I think everyone has painted something like this in their lifetime... once. 😂
I remember getting my first pistol grip for spray paint, I think we painted every bike in the neighborhood, I thought I was an expert but horribly tiger striped the first car I did 😂
Those 417 control arms are so nice
Lol that's like having a older and older brothers critique your work but willing to help.

You've learned allot and are doing great Tommy nothing like saying you actually built something yourself. Do miss some dart content however
