The key to a successful bug out bag is to put in it what works for YOU! I have watched so many different videos on "perfect" bug out bags, but it really comes down to: "will this kit meet my needs for the conditions I expect to face". Nice load out, and I have a Rush 72 for my current BOB as well!
Yes please go through that nifty pot, pan, plate, combo in a separate video and add the where and what name is it so everyone can get one like soon. By the way great video and gear man.
I just found your UA-cam. I was starting to think all the UA-cams on BOBs were from North America. Thanks for breaking that mold. I've watched a lot of UA-cams on BOBs but your's is different in one very important way. YOUR SHIT HAS ACTUALLY BEEN USED! Virtually all the others were showing brand new, pristine gear. There was obviously no experience behind them. Good job.
Glad you enjoyed it mate! I know what you mean, that’s why most of the time I just call it my camping bag but to me there isn’t much difference since it has everything I need to survive away from home and what’s the fun in getting all that gear if you’re not gonna use it 😁
I have that Condor parang. Beat the crap out of it for over 4 years because it’s so cheap I never worry about replacing it. I don’t think I’ll ever have to! Damn thing never chipped, bent, or anything. Plus it sharpens up easy in the field. Nice vid, nice kit, got some ideas for mine. Thanks!!
Yes please make a video on your pan ,plate ,lid combo....I really like it and I'm looking forward to seeing more from your channel and hear you a bit louder. Have a great day
Yes, ever since someone I was with had an asthma attack in the middle of the bush and didn’t have their puffer with them. It was scary to see so I always keep one in my kit now 👍🏻 thanks for watching
if you find want something a bit slimmer than an esky; was playing around with my kits and one of the picnic sets you can get from spotlight for $25 works pretty good and is easier to carry as has a shoulder strap (i pulled all the picnic stuff out obviously)
Excellent, practical selection, vey similar to my own setup. Redreshing to see some aussie content, who else would include an esky? Maybe think about some basic repair items like large needle and thread, cable ties and gaffer tape. Paper maps of your area might be nice too.
For me I would pack some stormproof matches to use be cause in a bug out may not have a lot of sunlight to start a fire and as for first aid kit I put more gales pad and rolls and other stuff for big cuts not so much bandaids
Hi mate. Found your channel by accident & find it quite informative. I guess it doesn't really matter what you have in that bug out bag. as long as the necessities are there to survive a zombie apocalypse.!! With all that gear you definitely need that Prado to carry it. The weight of that Bug Out Bag is something you can improve on, either only have the things required to survive or replace it with something much more lighter to carry on your back. Also get an internal frame backpack that would distribute the weight accordingly. Great segment matey. You got yourself a sub. Cheers & Merry Christmas & safe New Year. There's nothing better than being in the outback bush.!! Greetings from Christmas Island.
hi mate just seen your channel nice set up and presentation I like your cook kit and keen to see the individual review of it and would love to see some of your adventures .. stay safe
Thanks mate! I will actually have a new video coming out soonish with my updated gear as I've completely overhauled my kit since this video and I'm super happy with the new setup!
@@turtlewolfpack6061 Agreed. Get some quality Merino Wool Socks! Your Feet will thank you... 100%...Without healthy Feet you aren't going anywhere! Don't skimp on your Feet
Really great kit . Your pan really is awesome what is it called anywhere can I get it at. .....suggestion video needs more volume I can barely hear it...have a great day.
Just so you know, when you edit your comment UA-cam doesn’t let me know so I only just saw your question now. I couldn’t give you a timeframe unfortunately as solar is much less predictable than using a wall outlet but let’s just say that it definitely takes longer than charging at home
Nice kit, I'd just add some socks and clothing, and a sleeping bag as you mentioned. Not sure the Eski is the most efficient use of space though!

Yea I agree. And the Rush is a good pack 👍🏻 thanks for watching
So I have a s.o.g bag it's litterly identical to the rush 72 it may be a bit bigger any thoughts on the s.o.g. version pros cons comments concerns

Great kit.
Thanks for watching “eh” 😁

Great video mate, you’ve inspired me to refurbish my bug out bag.
Thanks mate! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with 👍🏻
I was glad to hear that you have a rescue inhaler very thoughtful this coming from an asthmatic who has been without a rescue inhaler
Yes, ever since someone I was with had an asthma attack in the middle of the bush and didn’t have their puffer with them. It was scary to see so I always keep one in my kit now 👍🏻 thanks for watching
Love to hear more about your cookset.
Nice kit. Tried & tested is the most important feature, you know it works for you. I like the 511 bag, now I want one. TY.
Thanks mate and thanks for watching!
Love the firebox with trangia alcohol stove - simple versatility, I'm going to steal that one :D
That’s probably one of the best things in my kit 😁
Great bug out bag. The cool idea ill be adding to mine will be the mosquito head net. Very clever. Just found a 4 pack on ebay for $8!
Yes! I just bought another head net to keep in my 4x4 as a spare 😁 thanks for watching!

I have the carbon mora garberg and love it.
I don’t think the carbon was available yet when I got mine but I’d be happy with either 👍🏻

Spare socks. A spare pair of socks is a Godsend.
Just saw this mate, definitely a good tip!
@@FreedomInMindtv preferably wool if you can, they don't have to be 100$ but avoid nylon, for some reason nylon takes a stink very bad and fast!

What do you use for thermal regulation?
I saw many kits but I’ve never seen candle lamp UCO
Great video!!
Thank you!
Good kid awesome info
Thank you!
Nice video mate!
Thanks mate!
What's the weight mate?
Too heavy 😂 I don’t know as I’ve never weighed it but when I’m done updating it I’ll upload another video with the weight
What cook set is that
Not sure sorry, my mate bought it for me but I’ll ask
question: how long does it take for your powerbank to fully charge using the goal zero panels? I have that same knife and love it! hi from california
I’ve been to California, beautiful landscape! Especially around Yosemite. Thanks for watching!

too heavy 😂
Is it 45l...
Good 👍 🦸♂️
Thanks!
Love your name
Thank you!

Outside of the gloves, everything you have looks like new stuff you’ve never even used.
You are incorrect
badly out of focus
Check your settings and internet connection. This is definitely not “badly out of focus” or I wouldn’t have uploaded it. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
