These instructions also work for the Flash Copter and the Flare Copter. Although, if you are using it for a Whistle Copter you may have to bend the wings a lot more because it weighs more and has a tendency to dive bomb.

+Radha Miniyar not all sling copters are created equal. Those cheaper ones you refer to are not nearly as bright or durable as the premium ones like these. The cheap ones also go half as high.

After buying several different types of these, I've found Alien's to have by far the best overall launchers. Rocket Copters seem to fly about the same height, just as bright LED, and i paid 11$ for a pack of 6. Granted, no guarantee and they are designed for irreplaceable batteries, but they do let out a loud whistle on the way up that my kids really like. RC's do wear out eventually after several evenings but i like that the wings are not clear so the LED light shines and reflects off of them making them a much bigger ball of light at night on the way down.
I can’t get mine to come back. It flies great but goes out then comes down. The guy that sold me mine was shooting out 100 feet then it would come right back to him and he’d catch it. What can I do. He had the same one he sold me.
He was actually shooting out over the ocean from the pier. And it would come right back every time

yep you explained that two the tee. i have bought over 1000 of these and the first Bach were the good ones! then the 2nd batch were the knock off ones or should i say the knock you in the for head, bust you in the lip or,wack you in the hand,, ones. big difference they turn around and think "dam that looked like that hurt" "i dont want that to happen to my kid". so i agree buy the better ones it will save you lots of wacks to the face and you wont have every 3rd person coming back 5 mins later saying i shot it up once and the wings broke
