As an Italian thoosie, I'm so glad Movieland is getting more attention overseas. It has the perfect balance of sketchiness and legitimate quality to make it truly one-of-a-kind. You'll definitely have to revisit at some point, because you've missed out on some truly standout attractions. Their shows have surprisingly great production value for a park of this size, and Antares is shockingly immersive considering what that ride is in concept. Also, they've just recently opened Disaster - The Blockbuster Tour, which is their own spin on a Universal Studio Tram Tour style ride. (It's still a work in progress, though, so I'd wait a while before returning for it.)
@@MondoCoasters I really want to experience a show next time! I'll have to skip Antares, though, for my stomach's sake. I skipped it on purpose during this visit. Also a shame we missed out on Disaster Tour. We had no idea it was a thing before we went, so can't wait to ride it someday!
If you were to return to this park, you should definitely ride Antares. Without spoiling it i can tell you that the ride itself is quite simple, but in classic Movieland fashion, it is packed with theming from head to toe. that, plus some great on-ride effects make it a truly immersive and surreal experience.
We did consider doing it, but since it's a rotor, it's gonna have to be a no from me. Those types of rides tend to really mess with my head and stomach. But I'm glad to hear they beefed up its experience!
HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THESE ITALIAN PARKS!!! They look amazing! And aren't talked about enough in the wider coaster community is seems. Man this park landed on my bucket list, it just ticks a lot of boxen. Some unique rides and well themed experience type thingy rides, with actors and such. (how do you even describe those rides? They fall somewhere between a show and well themed escaperooms or something? Or am I comparing them to escaperooms because we have way too good ones here in the Benelux?)
Diabolick came from Six Flags America where it was known as Two-Face: The Flip Side. I am shocked no park has used that character since. Like perfect name for a Free Spin
This looks like one of the most unique theme park ever! Definitely somewhere I would want to visit if I ever go to Italy! Did you say it was close to Gardaland as well?
That's great to hear! Yup, it's just a few kilometers down the road from Gardaland. You can even clearly see this park from the tall rides at Gardaland, and vice versa.
I fucking love this Park, I went there for half a day and therefore had limited time which meant I wasn't able to do everything, but it's just a good excuse to go back. Magma2.1 is absolutely unhinged and one of the craziest rides that exists, I never was loosing my mind on a ride this many times. This ride is a true gem and needs to be preserved. I also love "Antares Interstellar Airlines" which you didn't do, it jas some awesome theming and it's an amazing take on a pretty standard Kirmes ride. Also Diabolik is how every old Vekoma should feel like, smooth but stil a little jank factor, it's perfect. That bitch is also crazy intense, I blacked out at least once on all 5 rides that I did. I cannot wait to return to try Kitts Superjet and the Submarine ride, also watching the stunt show that they have there. I think they are also building something new where BrontoJet used to be at, so that's another reason to return.
I completely agree with Magma! We decided not to do Antares because of certain nausea factors. Be excited for Kitt and U-571! The new ride is actually already open! It opened shortly after our visit. But we didn't even know about it before we were there. Shame, because it looked like a top tier attraction!
@@massimocantarelli4769 I can't wait to check out Disaster Tour sometime in the future. I'll have to skip Antares, though, since the spinning would mess me up

So glad to hear this place is now on your list!
I also have no idea how to describe some of these rides tbh 😂
Great video! Looked like a lot of good rides and coasters there! It's great to see you all had a good time! I really enjoyed watching this!
Thanks, Michael!

This park looks absolutely amazing, i might prefer to go here instead of gardaland!
Both are an excellent choice, simply depending on what interests you the most 😁

Yeah it's about a five minutes drive from Gardaland, you can actually see both parks from their tallest respective rides

Are you going to do a review on magma 2.1?
Unfortunately, no. I'd prefer to reserve the reviews for coasters. But I will make a ride countdown in the park where I talk about it 😁
jeres videor er så meget bedre når man ogs snakker dansk 😭
so happy u guys enjoyed Movieland! Great video as usual Nik!
Thanks! We loved it
I'm lucky to have Demon Drop an hour up the road from me
That's awesome!

Which one was better? Gardaland or Movieland?
Tough choice. I'll have to say Gardaland for me, just barely
