- Join us in our annual vlog from Oakwood Theme Park located in Wales as we join the European Coaster Club for a weekend of roller coasters, camping and plenty of laughs! Each year we head to the park for the 10pm After Dark Event and experience the fantastic variety of both thrill and family rides. Oakwood is also the home of Megafobia, one of our favourite wooden roller coasters in the world.
In this vlog we take you on board all of the rides we experience at the park including on and off ride footage from Megafobia, Speed, Drenched and many more attractions at Oakwood. Plus we share footage of the revamped fireworks display for 2017, catch up with plenty of familiar faces and experience a UV paint party all mixed in with plenty of laughs along the way!

Great Vlog as always and again it was a pleasure to meet you and the others yesterday for the first time
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VLOG!!! I went on their new coaster, flight of the giant peach, it's nice to see that they've put some theming into the queue line, but the actually coaster itself is nothing special and is just a bit rough. It's still nice to see they are adding more to the park! :)
did Caitlin have a rugby shirt on at the beginning? could she be anymore perfect?
Shawn I saw you on Monday whilst you were working, I was going to say hi but I didn't want to disturb you as you were working but I was so happy, the smiler and nemesis were my favourite rides😁

I rode the bobsleigh in 1987, had to go accompanied as I was too young to go solo. They had this assault course which was absolutely raw, concrete tunnels, tractor tyres, a rocking rope bridge and it ended with a zip line ride, just grab and go no safety line. There were also pedalos which went around a little island in the middle of a brown lake, some of the nutters on our coach trip threw each other in the pond.

Another amazing vlog, really enjoyed. Loved seeing a little bit of the new at the time ride "The Peach" lol. Sad it broke down, thats a shame and hoping this was the last time since your visit then compared to future times? If not, then not good. Enjoyed the fireworks at end, music was amazing. Congrats 100% to all those who were involved in creating & setting that all up. Good to see Caitlyn back on this event, aswell again the whole crew including Charlotte. Really do love when all group is together, looks like you all have fun times as a group. Loved the school scene, found some of that funny, but yeah overall really enjoyed. Going to now watch the Chessington WOA 2022 Update video to see what updates about Jumanji 2023. Can't wait, keep up the good work and look forward to seeing more videos soon. 😀👍

This looks like a really nice non-corporate style family park. Reminds me of a lot of the parks we have here in Pennsylvania and a lot of other places in the states.

they used to have one of them bobsleigh things just like that at alton towers. it was where oblivion is. MANY years ago!
The oakwood vlogs are one of my favourite utility the one thing I miss is when you put the tents up like last year because you didn't show the poles being put up lol

Nice to see Oakwood looking after the pinfari coaster way more than M&Ds. That theming is wonderful, M&Ds doesn't do theming XD. However I wish you were able to get on it, I do wonder if Oakwood fixed how rough it was. Another time. Great Vlog.

Man I used to go to Temby all the time as a kid, Oakwood was always the highlight of the trip. I remember when Megafobia first opened - it blew my mind. I'm so pleased to see the park is still in good hands, it's retained the classic rides that still to this day provide good, honest, no-gimmicks fun, and most importantly has retained its charm and character. Man I miss this place, I'll have to do this trip next year. Do they still have the train ride to the entrance? And the old gold mine area?
They stil have the train but the gold mine area has gone

The ride was changed to a differently themed one........Brer Rabbit's Party or something!
Can I ask how hard it is to hold on coming down the drop on Waterfall? I came out of the bag on Moon Landing and I don't want that to happen on Waterfall
It’s not that hard to hold on but it’s a risk no matter what falling off!

Go to cornwalls crealy they have a red slide that is like two times the size of the moon one at Oakwood
Very nice vlog again. Nice that almost all of you dared to go of the X95-slide . Too bad that the other X95 ride in the park has become so rough, I was in Oakwood for the last time in april 2007 and back then I really liked the Speedcoaster.. and Megafobia OMG ! I didn't see that " dark"-ride with the rabbits/hares.. is that gone? I remember a ride with a rabbit on a toilet with a fahrt ( ;) )-noise

This guy worked at Alton towers and I remember my rich Mate got these VIP tickets where a member of staff took you around and got you in faster than fast track tickets. At the time he said he had 25k subscribers to us now seeing he has 80k is crazy, also I'm in South Wales right now and I'm going to this park on Friday!

Oakwood certainly deliver a decent summer fireworks and entertainment event during the Summer. Lee Wood is great at teaching.
Dahl Land sure looks interesting, but it's a shame the coaster wasn't running too reliably. I hope the park has a good future and hope the place progresses.
I'm sure they will be fine, we had a great visit in summer!

I went on the Hydro as a kid before they had the over the top restraints m and just had lap restraints and it was amazing and terrifying all at the same time!

Been going here since early 90s. Was so much better then with the go karts, nutty jakes and the assault course . The park needs a decent investment soon there's nothing to pull people in any more
