- So. It's come to this. A new challenge run, where the horse deals all the damage for me. Miitopia, the horse only challenge. Welp, anyways, enjoy!

When i saw you pick stubborn for your Mii, i thought for some reason that it would be for Again, just imagine the hero Mii using Horse Whispering, and once the attack is over, out of nowhere, "Not satisfied!"
Unfortunately, I don't think it works with the horse
@@Cratfet it doesn't activate with attacks that use MP, mostly just normal attacks (that don't involve the horse).
Not to be that person, but incorrect, Again works on spells and such, which actually makes it one of the best skills for jobs like mage. It's just the horse

Tbh at this point that horse is a flamethrower, not a lawn mower.

This challenge highlights my main problem with the Horse. It doesn't give you the option to use it every turn, meaning you can go a few battles while thinking that the Horse is a background object at first that doesn't even do anything. This one simple change of allowing you to switch if you want to attack with the Horse or not, since it overrides your main attack button, could let it see some play in Miitopia adventures instead of sitting on the sidelines. It also has some extremely overpowered moves in the form of "Horse Whispering" that you won't really get to see during a Playthrough unless certain conditions are met. You have to go *out of your way* to get a feature that's unique to the Switch Port. It's teasing you with the fact that the Horse joins your Party, but only people that figure things out will ever use it correctly. And even then, the Horse's attacks are randomly decided for you. You can't choose which turns you want to use the Horse if it's in a battle with you.
So that's my main gripe with this new feature. You can see how this'll be a problem later on. Or not if you're lucky. Hope for the best since I learned that this feature is stupid the hard way by trying to do this challenge myself and failing miserably.
I’ve gotten used to the horse shenanigans.
Solution: If one of your miis is about to do a horse attack, send that mii to the safe spot so the attack doesn’t happen.
You just gotta time it correctly
@@emo_star7151 I'm talking about IF the horse attacks even activate. The attacks itself aren't the problem. It's the fact that they don't show up half the time when you need them to, so most people ditch the Horse because of it. That's what I did anyway.

I feel like it's fine since the Switch version is slightly easier than 3DS anyways, and the horse can only make your attacks stronger (not counting multihits such as popstar, before you unlock snort), and Miitopia is a very casual game. Plus so many people were happy to see enough care put into the game to add a new feature like this in the remake.

Good video, but I'm kind of surprised you didn't end up using Cool personality. The 30% dodge chance plus having a chance to be immune to emotion statuses (guaranteed immunity in the case of anger) seems like it'd be the best bet for staying alive until the horse actually decides to do something.
I forgot about the anger thing... yeah maybe I should've used that for a bit

I had an idea for a challenge though it may be an easier one. Miitopia, but every party member is always in a quarrel with everyone else. Benefits and MANY downsides, I'm interested to see how it would play out!

Wait, I know I’m a bit late, but wouldn’t it be easier to just mod the horse activation chance to a higher percentage or even 100% chance of activating instead of going through the process of making an ability that costs 0 mp for every job that deals 1 damage?

Couldn't you have made it so every non-horse attack is an instant Miss?
Nope, the only way to do that would be giving all the enemies a 100% chance to dodge (which could override other skills) and that would make mounted attack miss too, or I'd have to give myself crying with 100% chance to miss, but then I can't select the horse. Also I'm not entirely sure the 2nd is possible
