I've been playing the Dutch frequently lately. There's strategies I've been trying out but now I see a better approach from Simon since I've tried everything else that is a mistake😂
Awesome content as always. I tried to employ the Dutch for a long time, but I gave it up to go back to the Sicilian. However, I’m interested to see more game and try to give it another chance.
i paused the video to comment here so i dont know the conclusion yet. but what i wanted to say was simon do u think there was a chance to play a4 yourself when he moved his queen to b6 with the idea of moving your knight back to b8 with the idea of trapping the queen with bishop a6 at some point? i dont know i was thinking that when he made that risky queen move.
At this level this is how most games turn out. Which is why we should introduce a dice into the game. On each side there should be an image of a piece which then becomes a traitor. It simply changes color. So at move twenty you roll the dice... (Something tells me you can't have king, queen on the dice.) So three pawns, rook, bishop and knight on the dice? And this is a metaphor for A CIA or KGB agent swapping sides and giving up the identities of his fellow spies. Which does happen. And we want chess to be more like life, don't we?
We're all getting paranoid about cheaters on this speedrun, not just Simon! I think this guy was legit though. Some cheaters are very crafty though, they'll throw in a couple of weaker moves so long as they're not outright blunders. Move times are often a giveaway and this opponent was perhaps a little suspicious on that front, but it's hard to tell.
Hi Simon, Please carry on with the speedrun, we all love it ! Thank you
I bought your course on the dutch last night, working through the dos and donts currently, it's well written :) thanks for the content
Thanks Simon. Always enjoy these commentated games
Finally a tipical dutch position where u struggle in the middlegame! I would have lost that ending thosands time 😂😂
Thanks for sharing, gm Williams.
Qb5 was what I was looking at as I watched, and I'm around 2200, too. Exactly the sort of bad move that people our strength play, apparently!
good to see the speedrun back
Simon defending in the Dutch?! C'mon son! Checkmate the bloody man! Haha, good game though.

Good game!

But you can't play the Sicilian against D4 openings.. what do you play against D4?
Yes speed run 👌
Awesome game
Please make more dutch videos 🙏

He won't answer, he never answers here 😔
We want our grand master back.
I bet you would have beat him with the black lion.

👍
Thank you for these videos, Simon. However, they've convinced me not to play the Dutch, as the Nimzo Indian and Slav allow me more room for error.
My live list looks like this 🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫 and to be honest i dont even play chess daily anymore. Cheat detection is non existent.
I got a 5 year old account banned the other day.
Literally no suspicion of cheating here, come on Simon

Based on his game history, I suspect he will be banned in due time
@@masone4718 I don't understand. iosebi12 seems to have been around the same rating for a long time.
second🎉
The one thing I learnt from this video is that I will never play the classic Dutch opening when black
Why?
first
Simon mate you got to stop accusing everyone of cheating mate… you really are paranoid
Lol, can you blame him? Nearly all his speedrun games have been against cheaters.
In Simon's case it's understandable, especially after that run where he faced several back to back.
it leggid was like 50% cheat in this speedrun
