My Daddy was also a young man who fought in the 2nd World War. What makes me even prouder of him is the fact that We are South African not really anywhere near the war but he felt every extra hand would help. He was away for more than 4 years. He was always kind and giving. He worked as medic(during the war as well) and a fireman. He was one of the kindest human beings I have ever known. He passed away at age 92 never used lift to their 2nd floor and went to be with the Lord quietly and quickly just the way he always wanted. Miss him always.
