I highly recommend this movie. I've watched many horse stories, but this one stands out. Great acting and a story of healing for Shannon the teenager, her mother and Max the old time horse trainer. The love of a horse, determination, patience, and a good team to train it can lead to a wonderful race at the last turn and the finish line in sight.

Thoroughly enjoyed this movie, the reunion of Lou Gosset n Jason Gedrick is a plus....Jason is so handsome along with Eric Robert's, who still has a head fullof 😍 stylish gorgeous hair!

It is happening to a lot of us. Sign of the times. Pray the Lord will open their eyes.
Scapegoating? I've seen something similar with my younger siblings. Our mom died young, our dad had trouble coping with life. I was the one who was supposed to make everything right for everyone. I suppose I also got blamed for everything that went wrong. When I started carving out space for myself, things slowly got worse. That said, I wasn't always good at communicating what was bugging me. At some point, I should have said nothing at all and quietly walked away. Instead, I guess I turned myself into the bad guy or maybe they just had no more use for me.
Here's the thing. Before my mother died, she sometimes felt the same way. And she said to me:"when I am gone, they'll wish that I was still here" (and feel guilt/remorse). Except, they didn't.
Live your life for yourself, not pining for someone who won't give you the time of day, as they say.
Humans are often really cruel. Don't let that destroy you.
I almost didn’t continue watching this one but wow, what a lovely movie as it turns out . I felt ever so close to my dad who loved horses and had a couple of his own . Great memories . TFS 💜🙏

Thank you for this great movie. Brought back some good memories of horse's when as a kid would go with my dad to the trainer to look how my dads race horse 🐎 was doing. This was in the late 60s and middle 70s.

I think I've watched every horse movie so far. This far reaches my expectations. What an awesome cast.
I boarded my horse at a stable where the owner got drunk one night and he was beaten almost to death. He did get even with the owner that night and he wound up in the hospital. My dad and I built a barn for my brother's and my horses. I would show and ride western pleasure. This movie ĥlr⁵t

Excellent Movie
Great film, every one did a great job, except for the story teller or the director, in the end everyone is jumping up & down, but Rainbow is left with ONLY one person. THE TRAINER.
I felt the same way. As much as she cared for the horse then after the race showed no affection towards her at all.
OMG, I cried in the beginning of this movie and then it was wonderful the rest of the way! Thank you so much for sharing!!

I am glad I gave this movie a fair shake. It was better than I thought it would be. My first concern was the over done theme; " the hero, male or female, has been subjected to a heart breaking tragedy, falls for underdog horse, horse shows great promise but is placed in a claims race and is lost to an antagonist of the hero, ...blah blah blah in the end horse and hero are reunited and win the race of a lifetime! I had it pegged from the start but the in spite of the overdone plot, the actors inured me to the movie and I have to admit it was well done. Thanks.
