This thing is absolutely amazing! I love it so much, so fun to fly man! The thrust vectoring and the post stall maneuverability is so freakin fun! It’s just a great change from the limitations we’ve been used to i guess

The "smoke" is condensation when the compressors kick on. It's the moisture being purged before it stores more fresh air for later. Something like that.

I do wish the default chase camera was a little closer. Akin to the F-16. But that may be due to the need to see the plane flipping and doing all the crazy maneuvers. I do love that if you just stay in burner all the time you will run out of gas really quick and that is pretty real.

Oh I know. The only issue with that is the field of view becomes narrower, which I kind of don’t like not a big deal. Just a minor gripe.

I agree about everything, The Apu start up is Amazing and Realistic. The only issue that I have been having is the MFD screens not always coming on after turning on the battery switch during start-up, Otherwise no other problems for me so far on Series X, I LOVE it!

@@FastTimesVero Also on the Real Raptor the Thrust Vectoring is actually Turned On and Off by the pilot during flight, It is not always on during flight.

@@FastTimesVero Parking Ramp spot 35. Select straight out departure with ATC. I always see them at least 4-5 Raptors on my way to the runway from parking spot. Top Mach Studios says it is a feature of their F-22A.
I believe the crash to desktop cause was DirectX 12 beta. Decs suggests using 11 only.
I would love to see you form a virtual demo squadron with all these jets

Great vid man , the issues I’m seeing are black screens after startup mainly at 3rd party airports. On the forums , I have been on the Xbox black screen issue case since day one . Memory issue .
I'm on Series X, just using the controller for now. Have now gradual input for thrust, it's tap A and full power. Same in the cockpit, with the curser, push A on a switch and it goes to full power. Not sure whats going on. But love the Aircraft 💯
I get the crashes and Im on xbox series s and it helped when I temporarily deleted some marketplace add ons that I did not use so to all of you also having that problem try that and that might help.

I think the drone cam issue is related to the coding of it's flight model. Same is true with the harrier for me. In regards to the AB flame you're going to have to contact their support I think. I haven't seen that issue yet.

Still having issues with MFD’s and HUD not loading in sometimes in offline mode. And with the afterburners they glow but NO Afterburners Trail. Also I cannot control the flaps. I’m on the Xbox Series S.
Has anyone had any issues with take off? the aircraft will pull to the left or to the right while moving?
Yea you have to control rudders
I fly the f-22 on xbox series X too, and the aircraft likes to drift to the left when I taxi and take off, I don't know why this happens, maybe its the game?

I love this jet. So freaking awesome. Ive been waiting so long lol. One issue though is on take off and landing it never stays straight, always pulls hard to one side. Anyone else having the same issue?
You have to use rudders
@@FastTimesVero yeah I use rudders to correct it but it just pulls so much. Its not really normal but its alright. Something so small isnt that big of deal to me.

4.7? You can't even control the flaps haha. Other than the neato thrust vectoring that gets old in a couple minutes, it's useless other than top speed. The 22 that's been out prior is actually way more fun for me due to the ability to slow down and land quickly

Are you really not supposed to turn the FBW off? I swear it flies way better with it off, even though it says it “hinders performance” I feel like that’s just a sarcastic joke. I don’t understand how it hinders the performance.

@@FastTimesVero Bro I can’t really find any info on this so I’ll explain more. I don’t use the “F-22A Non-FBW” aircraft version that you select. I use the plain “F-22A”, now this might be a bug, otherwise; I don’t know what it is, but when I turn the “FBW” switch to off; the plane turns insanely quicker and is far more explosive. Like with FBW turned on it still turns fast, but with the switch off if I pull the stick back; the plane instantly turns around, like instantly flicks backwards, pulling 10-24 G’s even below Mach 1. So, I don’t know if that’s a bug or what, maybe the switch got inverted, because I don’t know how turning the FBW switch off causes degraded performance, when it literally makes the jet 10x more insane. Unless that “causes degraded performance thing is a joke”. I noticed the FBW switch doesn’t really change the jet in the Non-FBW version of it.

Do we have any word on when an update is coming to fix the crash-to-dashboard issues?? Amazing aircraft but it’s 100% unplayable for me because of it keeps crashing. Online capes are off as well as air traffic and it crashes immediately upon loading into the cockpit.

I'm enjoying the f22 it's my favorite jet. But unfortunately I can't fly it very long cause the game crashes to the home screen on my Xbox series S.

For XBox Series S customers in particular, the Raptor appears to require a lot of disk space / RAM resources and many Xbox S customers may be experiencing problems with crashes and other bad behavior as a result. A reported solution that has worked for a few customers, is to delete reserved space for the game (Xbox console settings → System → Storage → Flight Simulator → Delete “Reserved Space”) and also removing other content from the Xbox (other games / addons) to free up disk space and reduce demands on RAM.

Make sure your Microsoft Flight Simulator Add-On Support is still installed. You can check the Microsoft Store on Xbox. Mine mysteriously uninstalled itself...
My guess is that your use of ethernet has a role in your not experiencing crash to desktop. I just got my TMS F-22 last night. As for the burner, using my flightstick, if I max my throttle, I get a flickering AB, but if I lower my throttle slightly from max AB , I get the expected AB flame cones. I hope this helps for Gamepad users. How do you go into nose very high with AB and keep it there??
