Glad I came back and watch again. I put 8 and then ran it for 10min but watched the video and re did it to 18. Glad I did to cause it looked like the 8 cleaned the oil that was left in from the first change so now the 18 is clean clean
What do you use for filming ? Seems like it’s a good camera . One suggestion though , get a camera tripod . Will help out like when you were filling the oil . Great video quality . Very informative! Ty
I don't even know if you can still find these tires lol, there the original tires that came on this bike, its the square tread though not that rock print tread
Have this engine on my bike I start it and turns right off will stay on for a bit and die any idea what could be wrong with it give it fuel and chokes and dies out
sounds like a dirty/clogged carburetor, I would try cleaning that, take the carburetor apart and clean the inside and the jet, put it back together and see if that fixes your problem
Nice video sir! Any way to keep the oil from running all over the rear of the bike? Also, what oil is recommended for these engines? I currently have Maxima pro plus full synthetic 10w-40 motorcycle oil for my atv. Will that work? I saw you recommended Napa 10w-30 full synthetic. Is that MA2 approved for motorcycles?
Well you're wrong on one thing my man you said "better to have too much than too little" well it's the other way around just sayin. If you have too much oil in your engine where is it supposed to go🤔 however if you run it a little low it'l be just fine
yeahhhh... this was my first minibike ive ever swapped and at the time didn't know you could flip the cutch the other way, think it looks ugly flipped the other way tho lol
Hopefully this gets my go kart running again lol thank you!! My kart hasn’t been started since before winter
nah you should be good, make sure it has clean gas and you shouldn't have any problems.
@@JT-zn5mg luckily it did just need an oil change, it’s my first time having a small engine so I’m still learning a decent amount of stuff
Straight to the point bro! Very nice
Thanks for stating how much oil is in this engine! Awesome tutorial. 7/2024
My thumbs up did a pretty cool light color change BTW. And thx for the help bro 👌
anytime
Love the go power sports merch… they are the best mini bike/go kart place to go to
Just did mine yesterday manual calls for .5 quart “16oz” and when checking oil you don’t thread the dip stick back in

Thanks I just got a new bike and the engine needs more stuff added on but I was concerned about the oil
😅😅😅😅the random cuss words was the extra touch for me. Good video man 💯
Can't trust a mechanic that doesn't cuss or have tattoos lol

Great video bro subscribed ! Also I need help my mini bike Is a predator 212 and it takes off when I put it on run any idea what it can be ?
Is it a power washer engine or the normal predator out of the box?
@@JT-zn5mg normal predator 212 stock motor
Hey man, Great video just changed the oil my predator 212, do you know what exhaust you have on your bike and where I can get it from?
You can get one similar on Amazon for $20 just look up “predator 212 exhaust”
@@thebryceisright1951 is it alright to use 5w30 synthetic in a predator 212
i made a video of the exhaust i have on my bike
@@thebryceisright1951 you could but they sound bad and they rust easily lol

I really like the tires on ur bike u got a link for them?
I don't even know if you can still find these tires lol, there the original tires that came on this bike, its the square tread though not that rock print tread
I am wondering though is how you know when it's time to change the oil, about every hundred miles or so?
I would say every couple of uses, or every 4 months unless your using synthetic oil, synthetic can last longer
Synthetic isn’t overkill it maintains the motor
right but for these motors synthetic isn't a mandatory recommendation
Can u do a tutorial on how to change the governor on the Massimo bike u did a review on a while ago?
I took the governor out of that bike way before I made my channel but I'm planning on doing it to my Baja so stay tuned
@@JT-zn5mg bet! Keep up the work love ur vids

How much oil did you fill your predator engine with?
Half a quart for 212s

How often do you change the oil
@@lil_spooky1817 every couple of rides, just to be safe
My bike won't start
What handlebars do you have?
They are from a old style 1980's Dirt scooter
yo man how do you often change oil?
Every 10 hrs of riding or if you ride it everyday for a week change it but as your breaking in the engine you should change it after 10 hrs of riding
Were u get the shocks
I made a video on my channel on how to install them the link on where to get them is on that video
My minibike is the exact same color 🤣
really? lol

How much teeth is your sprocket

It's not good to over fill any engine with oil. Puts alot of pressure on your seal.
You’re not supposed to thread the dip stick to check oil level
unnecessary offensive language, cut video off and sought video from one more aligned with my beliefs, sad commentary on the degradation of society
So so sooooo sorry Richard, I’m so sorry I don’t follow the exact rules to your designated beliefs Richard lol
