"She is out there, setting up a camp. Alone, in a strange galaxy. Maybe right now she is settling in for the long nap, at the light of our new sun, in our new home...
I'd love a sequel. Maybe just of his journey to get to her. And at the very end he makes it and finds her there still asleep in the cryo pod and he settles in for the "long nap" in the empty capsule across from hers. So that when she finally wakes up, the first thing she sees is Cooper and she knows she is not alone.

The effect that music can have on the mind is so powerful. Mix that with an ending scene as spectacular as this film's and you're in a world of your own. This film is the reason why cinema can be one of the greatest forms of escapism and ways to capture true emotion. Hans and Chris have truly captured the true beauty and essence of the human spirit. Every Time i hear that two note melody i think of a gentle heartbeat, fragile just like a newborn baby, growing stronger progressively. As the song continues, you hear the piano and violin slowly accompany the two note melody to add more and more of a build up, and before you know it you're immersed into a very powerful and breathtaking audio experience. I like think of the whole song, the whole build up, if you will, as a representation of the ever growing love of cooper and murph, even if they are distant physically, through a different dimension of love they are still connected regardless of the dimension of time.."love is the one thing that were capable of perceiving that transcends dimensions of time and space." And people on earth doesn't care about space exploration because they want to stay there cause they loved it but they didn't realized that there are many planets like earth that should be new homes for generations man😢
It's really hard to write anything, after this movie. It was breathtaking, brilliant.. a true masterpiece! When Cooper was inside the tesseract, somehow it reminded me of my own near-death experience. I was born prematurely at only six and a half months old, but i can remember everything. There was no time there.. as i was hoovering above my body, i knew that this won't be the end, this can't be... I saw how the doctors are trying to save me, i knew their feelings.. This movie was right. We are more than what we can perceive with our senses. All of us.
@@SteveSmith-ze5mw there have been studies we can't form long-term memories until about 4. But I don't know you or your life, so I won't say it's impossible you aren't different and actually do remember. But just to say most consider it impossible
As unbelievable as it seems I too had a similar experience. However from what I can remember everything was rather… blurry. I remember the light in the celling and I was inside something , I remember I saw a somewhat human like figure. But I only came to a realization it was a memory from when I was probably inside the incubator when I was way older. I also have other memories my parents confirmed were from when I was 6 months old. In that memory I can remember things looked less blurry still the sunlight were too strong for me at such point everything a few meters away looked like a bright orange mess. I remember that my father picked up a leaf of a Xanthosoma sagittifolium and jokingly said it was an umbrella. I was inside the baby stroller and he put it in my hand. But that’s all I remember about that day. When I told my parents they were shocked at the fact I retained the memory of something from when I was still so little. From what I can tell I came to full “consciousness” or self awareness one day when I was climbing up a hill with my mother and I saw a friend of my mother, I remember I was terrified at the sight of a stranger, I used to be a very timid kid. So I hid behind my mother, she told me to introduce myself, I told my name and I also my age, which at that time was 2. From that moment onward I had full “self control” or whatever people call it.
*This music evokes memories of everyone I've ever loved and lost. My heart aches terribly every day, and yet it also smiles, for being able to experience that much love and happiness in my life, knowing that nothing lasts forever, and to be so thankful to the stars above that I was able to feel what so few will never feel in their lives. I love you all more than you'll ever know..*
My brother was watching this in the living room and after barely seeing the last 15 minutes of the film, i still cried. This movie was THAT impactful. Utter masterpiece
This soundtrack is beautiful I can listen to this for hours. I don't know what it is about this, listening to this motivated and Inspiries me about my life gives me some kind of hope something to carry on for. That what I want from life is achievable it's all about taking a chance and making it happen. Does anyone get this feeling?
This makes me cry because I listened to it everyday when my grandma was in the hospital because of a brain aneurysm. She passed on the 25th of January. I miss her. I want her back💔
"She's... out there. Setting up camp... alone, in a strange galaxy. Maybe right now, she's settling in for the long nap. By the light of our new sun. In our new home..." (Apologies if I misquoted anything. :-) )
I don’t normally cry during a movie but I did on this one. The endless possibilities out there. Nothing can compare. Sacrificing your self to save the human race. So noble. I can’t even explain the emotions this song and movie make me feel. Love adventure and hope. To one day leave this planet, and save human kind.
"We've always defined ourselves by the ability to overcome the impossible. And we count these moments. These moments when we dare to aim higher, to break barriers, to reach for the stars, to make the unknown known. We count these moments as our proudest achievements... And that our greatest accomplishments cannot be behind us, because our destiny lies above us.""
As the years have passed, this film has become somewhat of a cult science fiction film with a really strong following. Many love it after 1 watch, some need 2 or 3 but eventually when the film clicks, you mark it down as personally one of your favourite space films ever made. Everyone i know.
With just few keynotes , this man has taken us deep into our past cloudy memories which remind us of all the people we ever met and interacted with and the moments that we lived without realizing back then that they were the best moments of our life

This movie was beautiful and amazing, in plot and animation. And there were some scenes that just made me cry hard. The relationship and the separation of Murph and her dad reminded me of what I was going through with my dad....
To think that he left her at such a young age and she lived her whole life whilst he lived only days to come back when she is old imagining her seeing him looking just like he left must have been amazing

I saw this movie last night with my parents cuz my dad said it was, "the greatest movie in the universe". There were multiple times where I almost broke into pieces, but nothing hurt more than when Cooper said behind the bookshelf and/or bookshelves, *"Don't let me leave Murph!!"*
nunca me cansaré de escuchar esta banda sonora , me transmite solo buenas vibraciones....Cuando la escucho siento que puedo viajar en el tiempo a través del amor como hizo Cooper.... el amor es la clave de todo...
I can't listen to this music. Really I can't: it's too strong, too moving, too symbolic; too beautiful. It's hard to hear a "sound" like that, with all the "love" and "sacredness" inside, and thinking to the whole story... Oh it's too much to me. Interstellar is not a "movie": it's a fu**ing piece of art, and something that had never been seen before.
My friend, You said it! This movie is very special to my soul. The soundtracks sunk into my total self. The legacy of this movie shall go on to become history in the world of cinema. Interstellar is not just a movie, It's an experience. That experience changed how I think about life, the whole perspective. It's very hard to put all those feel into words while listening to this piece. I'm glad that there are people who are connected to this movie. :)

All of us.
So you remember being six and a half months old, have a day off.
@@Britpopsoul i have memories from before I could talk. So probably like a year old.
@@SteveSmith-ze5mw there have been studies we can't form long-term memories until about 4. But I don't know you or your life, so I won't say it's impossible you aren't different and actually do remember. But just to say most consider it impossible
you're telling me your eyes could see several feet ahead/around you right after birth, sure
My math homework got so intense listening to this while working..
Haha
r u asian to do homework?
nope.. but i passed.. :)
:))))
FitnessFreak This is no time for caution
Remember seeing this with my dad. There aren’t words to describe how much I miss him. But this track helps me cope better.
Right on
This film doesn't need oscars, The oscars need this film.
+marsel shtylla hopefully the latter will happen for you friend
I've waited years...
Same , but just for reply..
Like, 90 years...
I'm finally here, after 4 years...
I’m still here on Millers planet. Its only been 37 minutes
I have arrived at the four year mark..
In our new home..."
(Apologies if I misquoted anything. :-) )
How many of you guys get teary eyed when listening to this? Then the song becomes hopeful and lifting.
Hans Zimmer is an absolute musical genius.
This music makes us cry because it puts our very existence onto perspective. It makes us think and feel on a whole new level.
"Because my dad promised me" ..the tears... they don't end.. why it doesn't ends?
I don’t normally cry during a movie but I did on this one. The endless possibilities out there. Nothing can compare. Sacrificing your self to save the human race. So noble. I can’t even explain the emotions this song and movie make me feel. Love adventure and hope. To one day leave this planet, and save human kind.
The most beautiful track I've ever heard in my life
this tune made the ending scene of the film a masterpiece
"Because my dad promise me"
Don't. Damn it, gotta get the wipes :(
One of the greatest movies ever made. Fuck the haters! Absolutely heart-touching movie..
This tune gives me goosebumps
"We've always defined ourselves by the ability to overcome the impossible. And we count these moments. These moments when we dare to aim higher, to break barriers, to reach for the stars, to make the unknown known. We count these moments as our proudest achievements... And that our greatest accomplishments cannot be behind us, because our destiny lies above us.""
Kinda stupid that this score lost to the silly Budapest Hotel one. This one was obviously the winner.
Yezzzir
As the years have passed, this film has become somewhat of a cult science fiction film with a really strong following.
Many love it after 1 watch, some need 2 or 3 but eventually when the film clicks, you mark it down as personally one of your favourite space films ever made. Everyone i know.
This music captures the sublimity of nature, exploration, hope, and the human spirit so well.
Makes me imagine great things
definitely ;) yeap
Oscars didn't deserve this movie
With just few keynotes , this man has taken us deep into our past cloudy memories which remind us of all the people we ever met and interacted with and the moments that we lived without realizing back then that they were the best moments of our life
One of the best sci-fi movies of the last decade. If not the best
"No parent should have so watch their own child die"
If it hadn't been spoiled for me, I would've cried like a baby when I saw it.
BEST MUSIC EVER HOLEY CRAP SO AWESOME
Someone at the eclipse played this on loudspeakers and it made it so much more epic.
This song makes me relive the saddest moments of my life . And makes me realize life is beautiful and we have to try to live. To succeed.. it's worth it
This movie was beautiful and amazing, in plot and animation. And there were some scenes that just made me cry hard. The relationship and the separation of Murph and her dad reminded me of what I was going through with my dad....
Phoenix Prime same, however after a time of not seeing my dad, I didn't feel emotionally attached after not seeing him for about 4 years. Is that bad?
Of all my 21 years of life. This movie got me crying. So many sad moments i can`t even speak. Still love it
This is the greatest soundtrack ever made, kudos Hans! I get goosebumps everytime I listen to this, and a huge rush of dopamine!!
The movie and sound tracks are legendary
this is the one song, which i can always tell my friends, gives me the chills
This is hands down, the best film I've ever seen. And Hans Zimmer really outdid himself with the soundtrack. Simply amazing.
MURPH: Nobody believed me, but I knew you’d come back.
COOPER: How?
MURPH: Because my dad promised me.
1:00
My destiny does lies way above from where I am today
To think that he left her at such a young age and she lived her whole life whilst he lived only days to come back when she is old imagining her seeing him looking just like he left must have been amazing
I remember watching this on the computer in late 2014 and i’m from sweden, i was only 13 years old (born 2001) and I almost cried st this scene. i’m 17 now and... time just flies by...
listening to this makes all my worries go away, it makes me realize there is more to life than my miseries
watching this in 2016 :')
2:47 that organ (organ?) jingling and chiming in the background gets me everytime, I have its tune stuck in my head actually
the title of this track speaks volumes of what is capable by humanity
Hans and Chris have truly captured the true beauty and essence of the human spirit. Every Time i hear that two note melody i think of a gentle heartbeat, fragile just like a newborn baby, growing stronger progressively. As the song continues, you hear the piano and violin slowly accompany the two note melody to add more and more of a build up, and before you know it you're immersed into a very powerful and breathtaking audio experience. I like think of the whole song, the whole build up, if you will, as a representation of the ever growing love of cooper and murph, even if they are distant physically, through a different dimension of love they are still connected regardless of the dimension of time."I knew you would come back. "How?" Because my daddy promised me." This quote along with this song will make me cry every time! The father and daughter relationship you have here is remarkably admirable, from little girl to elderly woman the love is never broken."love is the one thing that were capable of perceiving that transcends dimensions of time and space." This movie has had an enormous impact on me emotionally, even long after watching it. Fantastic job Christopher and Hans, you have collectively created one of the most beautiful things i have ever witnessed or heard. Truly brilliant.
Majstersztyk
Zimmer didn't even know what the film was about, and he made this beautiful soundtrack. I cried so much, I could have filled up Nile in those 20 seconds of the scene. Too good, Hans, you're the best.
(...)ella esta ahí, estableciendo un campamento...
sola,
en una galaxia desconocida
puede que ahora mismo este preparándose para echar una larga siesta
a la luz de nuestro nuevo sol
en nuestro nuevo hogar(...)
I am late , I watched this movie 6 years late. I had been missing such a great movie ever saw.
Love this moon and back. ❣️❣️
Idk why but this music always makes me emotional. Tears in my eyes
2018 and still....
I get chills every time I hear it... Truly astonishing... 💖❤❤💞
"She's out there... Setting up camp... Maybe right now, she's settling in for the long nap. In the light of our new sun. In our new home." - magnificent
I saw this movie last night with my parents cuz my dad said it was, "the greatest movie in the universe". There were multiple times where I almost broke into pieces, but nothing hurt more than when Cooper said behind the bookshelf and/or bookshelves, *"Don't let me leave Murph!!"*
This will always be my favorite movie.
I think a lot of people have no idea how brilliant a composer Hans Zimmer really is
I cry ever time i hear this music. Its beautifully made.
nunca me cansaré de escuchar esta banda sonora , me transmite solo buenas vibraciones....Cuando la escucho siento que puedo viajar en el tiempo a través del amor como hizo Cooper.... el amor es la clave de todo...
Good to know there are still beautiful souls out there. Well said sir...
Me too i can't listening this song.
It isn't art...it's a message
That was very well versed 👌🏻
