Finally, we get to metal detect the yard and surrounding woods. We had a blast and found a few interesting artifacts. The wire twists: a thousand, and one uses, but very commonly used to hold hazel twigs etc. on a besom (witches broom) because they didn't corrode like steel, or iron
That makes more sense than my thought. Copper doesn't work but it reminds me of the wire ties used on radiator hoses...lol. Copper would break before the needed tension is reached.
Biglerville Rd was 5 miles from the home I rented in Dillsburg, PA. Near an early 1820’s horse drawn grist mill & general store (burnt), where, I believe Stuart’s cav raided June 30/July 1 1863. I metal detected my yard & found dozens of artifacts. Incl. an ornate spur, utensils, buttons, a seated 1857 NO mint seated/drilled silver quarter, rope maker, burn pits, pig/cow/horse bones, a complete buried horse, ferrier files, lots of melted lead, harmonica reeds, (no bullets) though. I believe Stuart camped somewhere near this mill…
Hello chigg from England those copper wire with a knot could be used to put on young spruce trees when planting when they put the post in put the young tree against it as copper doesn't rot quickly all the best keep safe thanks for the beautiful historic videos
Those iron things look like barrel protectors for cannons where they could screw on the silencers. Great find Chigg. Never seen one before and you found three!
I like going out looking for coins and other things metal detect I have my metal detector put it's winter here in Spencer IA. But it's fun to watch you guys .
I detected a small property west of Gettysburg on Rte 30 by Fayetteville (15 miles west or so). That entire road west to there and a little beyond was a major retreat path (1 of 2) used by Lees army after the battle. I found 2 confederate gardener bullets and a sharps union bullet. I didn’t expect that but I bet that whole road has goodies along it. It was a rough haul through the mud and they left carts and stuff behind along the way.
0:55 I was multitasking and had to go back and listen to that again. I thought he said they were going to call it "Blind Titty Adventures" and I was like, "How the f......" But alas, it's Kitty. Technically those are blind too since they don't have eyes.
Hello Chigg, ya in the first vid here you were kinda play'n possum (especially when ya kicked 'em)!!!😊 Keep up the good work and vids. Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 🙏😇👊
New subscriber and new to the hobby. Off topic question but I see where you search the Shenandoah River a lot. Can you tell me if it is legal to search the river at the battle of Cool Springs location? With Shenandoah owning the shore, I'm unsure of the laws. Thanks and keep up the awesome videos!

Those first iron things you found are thread protectors probably used on casing pipe for a water well👍🏻
GR8 find. I heard that. 😅 great video Beau
I:ve been to Gettysburg many times!! Love it !!🍿😊👍
Nice to add history to the house
One of the days that make you appreciate the relics even more
Anyone else miss deep digger Dan?

That was a fun little hunt. I have days like that too. The real treasure is the friends you make along the way.
Those iron things look like barrel protectors for cannons where they could screw on the silencers. Great find Chigg. Never seen one before and you found three!
Thanks!
Wow... thanks so much!
Those wire rings reminds me of the wire they use to seal a potato bag.
Those are thread protectors for when they took the suppresors off the civil war cannnons. Very rare.

Chiggs I thought there would be more for you to find. Someone else has probably detected it in the past. Nice location. Take care.👍😀👏
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota
Thanks for sharing!
Gettysburg has been picked clean over the last 160 years even private properties
True stuff, most of the good stuff been retrieved. Even the gold the FBI took............... Lol
I remember little brass cap guns like that at 16:30, from back in the '80s
Cool house
The knife thing looks like a strait razor old school

I Recall Wier Ring's Like That On Like Tater Bag's 60's 70's 😎👍✌.

As always.. Great show Chigg
I just have to leave a 👍and cooment real quick. Good luck!
Twisted copper rings= hillbilly hose clamps. 😂

Lol. That was really good of you to dig all those junk signals. So the other dude could find all those cool finds! 🎉
Great finds buddy!
The item you thought might be part of the bottom of a flask. I thought looked like maybe a toe tap, or part of one. Stay safe.😊
15:40 looks like part of s straight razor.
Lots of nighthawks around those parts
Hello Chigg, ya in the first vid here you were kinda play'n possum (especially when ya kicked 'em)!!!😊 Keep up the good work and vids. Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 🙏😇👊
3:00 That looks like a thread protector from a 6-inch diameter pipe. That you found multiple of them is not surprising. They are relatively modern
Very cool love ur videos
Straight razor blade Chigg.
Bags of potatoes used to have copper rings like that
67th like, good evening, chigg, im sure there are cool stuff to find.
I remember going to gettysburg with my mom and she wouldn't stay at any of the haunted places
Those are thread protectors for pipe, may be 5 1/2" casing
Cool place Chigg 👍
Hey! Are you ever going back to that small town in ontario canada with all the silver in the mines?
To bad no CW finds, but who knows what is still in the ground. Thanks Chigg
@16:49 the grip fell off the gun.
Hey chigg.... buy that poor girl a pair of pants.... hers are fallin apart 😆 🤣 😂
15:40 blade from a moulding plane maybe.
Your little knife looks like a broken straight razor. Ron's little pistol fires plastic caps in a ring, and very loud!
Just in time for Happy Hour!
Those copper wire circles could have been used to fasten fencing up to a post
Those wires look like what they use on chain link fence, same with those steel caps. I wonder if it is old fill or a fence was taken down.
I've used those wires putting up fences, I think these were too thin, but I don't know for sure.

Twisted wire looks a bit like wire used to connect modern rebar in a cross pattern in a pad, or sidewalk.
Check out the story on the life on the Civil War research Trail. It’s about Williamsport, Maryland, and the people in the murder of a citizen.
not a great hunt. you have had much better days, but as long as you had fun...I had fun watching your video anyway.
since you found so many of those rings could they possibly be for a curtain to attach to a wood rod over a window?
Chigg isn't there for modern finds 😂
Must have been hunted out heavy already im thinking
Being that close to the battlefield it's probably been detected before.
Straight Razor
You got some change anyways
Does Ron have a channel?
Neat finds!
He is working on setting one up.
Looks like a straight razor blade…
👍🏡⭐️
That site has either been landscaped or alredy detected. Probbably why you never found much
Probably both.....
👋🙂
It's Gettysburg...every place has been hunted to hell n back 😔
Lincoln memorial
Idk chigg I think someone has hit that before
Gun might be a novelty lighter
At 15:27 that could have went to a hand plane.
Hollow ground Straight Razor, I reckon. It had a fixed handle rather than the normal swivel into a handle.
What no bullets?
1st
I was watching Donut Operator.
Is that a youtuber? *goes to investgate*
Hate to bust yer childish bubble but actually Chigg was 1st.

@@leannkennedy6568Awesome! Another LEO Channel. My favorite is Police Activity.
Quick question, why haven’t you upgraded from that dinosaur??? Lol
Quick answer, I'd use a stick if I kept finding what I find with it.
@@aquachigger I get it but your missing so much. I enjoy your videos just the same, thanks my friend ❤️
What's with the porn posts lately? Someone latched onto the channel and constantly posts... different usernames every time. I keep reporting them.
If you want to dig a lot of treasures, you should call your Chanel the constipated kitty. Trump 2024!
