I think alot of artists wanted to showcase their entire working process but SM only allows certain artists to do that because of limited resources. You're saying like others don't really care about their listeners and don't work hard for their albums. Your bias is showing up here.

From being a main dancer and a lead vocalist to an artist who drew pictures for the album , an actress in the album trailer, a lyricist who wrote a whole song in an amazing way and of course a great vocal performance that could easily pass as a main vocalist performance. She’s the real ace and the true definition of a whole package artist ❤. I can’t be more proud of her .
This recording behind just keeps reminding me why i love Seulgi a lot. You can clearly see how she really wants to perfect everything she does, how she keeps on working on it no matter how hard she thinks it is. She keeps on learning. Her voice is just heaven to hear. Seulgi really deserves everything good. 28 reasons album deserve so much more. Dead Man Runnin is such a masterpiece, her voice, the lyrics she worked so hard on, everything is just so perfect. Agreed. And it's always comforting to see that she's not being "forced" to do more takes or berated for not nailing something right away. She is the one who wants to try more, try different and it just seems like a great environment to work in. There are truly several things to hate SM for, but this solo debut of Seulgi's and the time leading up to it is worth much praise. Just look at how proud she is in the video where the other members watch it for the first time. Any company that makes one of their artists (especially since its one i stan) feel like that, gets points for that. Stayc's label High Up Entertainment also seems like this.

The definition of trust the process is this. She looked for the best words to accurately express the feeling in the lyrics, taking notes of every little thing of the song into consideration, listening over and over again, Seulgi's determination to hone her skills, to listen opinions to improve each time. Everytime I see a new video i remember why i chosen to be her stan. I can't even explain how much I admire this woman. When I first heard the song I already knew it would be my favorite on the album. I'm so freaking happy Seulgi is able to show all of this for her first solo. Her vocals and thoughts are so interesting. I love getting insight into how things are made and how concepts are put together so the past few behind the scenes videos for 28 reasons have been so amazing for me as a consumer and listener. I hope SM wakes up and does this for more of RV's releases, both group and units and solos. Only if the girls are comfortable with it, of course. But even if there's mistakes, I think I would still love to see it. I hope they release more of these for Seulgi as well, I wanna see the recording behind for the rest of the 28 Reasons b-sides! Also, I've always liked her covering rock type songs and this solidifies my want for her to do a fully rock track lol. Her voice just suits it so much.

I'm so amazed how easily seulgi gets what to change during recording to came up with perfect sound, ace indeed! love that song has lots of layers in it, it made it even more "tasty" to listen, I always pay attention to all the back vocals & adlibs & sometimes even forget to focus on main voice to the point I have to listen again, bc I got too far into details. anyway thank you for your hard work both to seulgi & pd who were guiding her in the process 💛

Wow, hearing the demo it sounds like a totally different song. Now I can hear exactly what Wendy was talking about when she said it was transformed with Seulgi's Korean lyrics. Ahhh - Seulgi really made that song amazing - full credit for the existing structure to the composer, but Seulgi's artistry in her vocals and lyrics really brought the song to life.

I rarely comment, but I was so in awe the entire time that I had to. I don’t really follow Red Velvet, but Seulgi is one of those idols that truly caught my attention. I watched a lot of recording behind kind of videos, and Feel My Rythm was probably one of my most memorable one, her’s and Wendy’s skills stood out so much. But this one, is on another level. Actually I was surprised that Dead Man Runnin' is my fave track in the album. It's a genre that I don't usually listen. Watching this, I can now say that Dead Man Runnin' has become my fave bc of Seulgi. Her lyrics and delivery made the song different. The demo is good but it's not really my vibe (it's more of a song that my brother listens) but I like Seulgi's bc it felt darker and eerie, and that's what I love. It's like rock but sounds elegant rock? I don't really know how to explain it but I know Dead Man Runnin' is my fave😭 So this is what other producers say when they work with Red Velvet. They transform the song.

这次的整张专辑都很棒，涩琪绝对做出了属于自己的色彩！视频开头大概七分钟都在阐释自己对歌词的思考，记忆中这是她第一次在镜头面前连续说那么多话。副歌部分涩琪的嗓音甚至出现了摇滚的感觉，可塑性真的好高啊！英文版demo感觉也很厉害的样子，好想听听看哦！

Actually I was surprised that Dead Man Runnin' is my fave track in the album. It's a genre that I don't usually listen. Watching this, I can now say that Dead Man Runnin' has become my fave bc of Seulgi. Her lyrics and delivery made the song different. The demo is good but it's not really my vibe (it's more of a song that my brother listens) but I like Seulgi's bc it felt darker and eerie, and that's what I love. It's like rock but sounds elegant rock? I don't really know how to explain it but I know Dead Man Runnin' is my fave😭 So this is what other producers say when they work with Red Velvet. They transform the song.
