5:50 You can swap corners inside a building and time the trap before the enemy breaches. Now he has to either focus the trap and destroy it or focus you and be at a disadvantage..

I’m an OG Pre-Season Caustic Main and the amount of changes is Caustic Main have gotten is unbelievable. The devs have to be careful about buffing and nerfing our legend since he can be too strong if changed too much.

Everytime I play caustic, people basically just say fuck you and push right through the gas like it’s not even there. They also just shoot me through it most of the time like it’s not even there, barely anyone I’ve ran into has respected the gas. His gas should be strong enough for people to not want to touch it, just like a wattson fence. But then the pros will cry cause they can’t just w key
I see where you're coming from, it can be frustrating when things don't go to plan. I think the gas isnt inherently strong itself however it offers a lot of versatile play options, if your aim is good, consider beaming enemies that are slowed and highlighted in the gas. If they push through it and you are in a bad spot take advantage of the slow to set up more traps as they get closer and even kite away yourself to reset. I wouldn't think of it as much as a smoke screen like bangs tactical as it's just not as effective in that way. Gas will rarely win the fight for you, but is an amazing enabler for you to make the right play and come out on top. Keep at it m8 👍
