the grid graphic is illustrating what it’s like to be connected in consciousness to a level/floor/idea, etc that could possibly trap you similar to a web if you remain there. So it’s better for someone to realise what an interaction is part of when it deals with the spiral illustration and to know how to get out of it …if it’s the downward spiral.
