- Our day began in the quaint town of Varenna, one of the towns along Lake Como in northern Italy. We rented a boat and had an awesome adventure day! Hope you enjoy joining us :)

If you are around Varenna you should definitely go to Mount Legnoncino in Valvarrone. The road is a little bit narrow but once you come to the park at the end of it the walking trail is easy (about 40 minutes) and you will have the best view on lake Como.
Allora ti piace la mia regione? E hai visto pochissimo! Manca la Valtellina, Milano, Mantova, Cremona, Bergamo, le montagne del bergamasco, molti laghi piccoli e grandi, Brescia , Pavia, e la zona dei vini dell'oltre Po' pavese. C'è ancora molto da vedere mangiare e bere.
Oltre al fatto che da qui si può facilmente viaggiare in tutta Europa.
Take care on diving and bathing in Lake Como, it's very deep and can be dangerous, you can find underwater currents and eddies that can take you down

You should definitely check out lake Garda as well, I like it better than Como personally. Also dolomites are close by, the most beautiful mountains in the world!
Also Lake Maggiore is better than Como.

Great video and beautiful scenery!! I would like to know if any of you had any boating experience prior to renting this boat, and does the company require you to have experience.
I would also like to do this with my family when visiting next week, but I don't have much experience steering a boat.

You have such a wonderful family! And you are absolutely lovely (lucky Connor), only outdone by your incredibly lovely mum! How tall is your father, by the way? I reckon 6' 4" plus. That's where you get it from. Is the Quinn Irish? If so, nothing wrong with that. And is the Italian "side" (that spare relative who was available to form the basis of your Italian citizenship application) on your mum's side? Reckon so. Mama is so much shorter, but seriously cute, although they do grow them tall here in the North. Anyway, enjoy bella Italia. And I'm a huge dog man too. My Sicilian wife (Palermo) was surprised to hear that you have to spray the dog pee down in your part of Puglia... I know you mentioned in one video that it might be an usual thing restricted to Puglia, or your part of it at least. Reckon it is! Dog doo, however, is, I regret to say, universal... But then think of, e.g. London, my home sweet home...

A Google search indicates that it is usually approximately 68 degrees July-September. Too chilly for me, but perhaps you are heartier!

Do you need a boat license, or for that matter, know how to drive a boat? Lol
No license required, but the engines are only 40 HP. If you want more power, you’ll need a license. All they did was ask Connor “do you know how to drive a boat?” 😂😂🤷♀️🤷♀️
@@TheQKatie yeah, Ive never driven one so a bit intimidated but would like to try. We are heading to Varenna in March. It might be too cold but I thought if the day was nice that would be fun
@@bonniecreevy2642 renting a boat for the first time is a sort of rite of passage for joung man here in italy. the shirtless guy will ask you "do you know how to drive a boat, uh?" and when you will answer "of course" you will be a man. and this is everythings he needs to know. jokes aside is very easy to drive one, specially on a lake. 9/10 times they assist you docking.
