In a real survival situation you will be surprised what you will eat and like it or not. Also you won't have items to doctor up these products. As for the resealable bags is nice to have. You can even use them for items other then food if needed.
When the potato famine was going on in Ireland they found entire families with stomachs full of grass and their hands died green from shoving it in their mouths starved to death on the side of the roads. You will literally eat anything when you are hungry. Sure you want it to taste good but you will eat rotting meat (and can) if you are hungry enough. Also you can just put water in the pouches and just wait for it to re-hydrate. It takes about an hour without heating it.
I would definitely supplement the kit with some canned chicken, ham, tuna etc and canned or freeze dried veggies. I bought the protein kit. No meat and way too many scrambled eggs. Taste good though.

Has to be cooked for 20 to 25 minutes??? How are you going to do that in an emergency survival situation? This looks just like the sides you can buy at the grocery store for $1, just with a longer shelf life. Real emergency food should be freeze dried or powdered, and need nothing but water and a few minutes of sitting time to be ready to eat.

My in-laws gave us several totes of this product. During Hurricane Katrina we had MRE's that tasted way better than this. Read the ingredients. You'll flip! Taste wise, this stuff is awful. Don't waste your money. Honestly.
Not me. If I had the choice of starving because I ran out of food for 2 or 3 months, or eating freeze dried food for those couple months, I'll eat! These emergency packs are TEMPORARY, not forever.
Taste a preperation are very important things to know with a food product. If you are just looking for whats in the box and shelf there are lots of other videos out there.
I keep getting emails on patriot mre do they think that people can afford this stuff. It is great to have a back up but what about the ones that can't afford it make them go hungry. Give it away or accept food stamps
I personally don't trust this reviewer. It appears to me that he might be using videos from another source. He definitely doesn't show the making of the food or him or anyone else tasting it.... Sus...
I do not as my wife puts up with my reviewing things as long as I stay out of her way. Shoving a camera in the kitchen is not staying out of her way. I also don't show my face on camera so can't show those satisficing shoving food in my face shots. I can say that all the footage and photos in the video were shot by me.
I can get that, but I made this video more for people that have seen this before and might be wondering about taste rather then price. Price can change a lot especially these days.
This is so dumb and seriously when your starving and can get calories in your belly for survival that is all that matters and IM sure your wife and you when starving would rip that bag out of your toddlers hands. So not listening to anything you rate!
That's fine you're welcome to your opinion. My philosophy behind having supplemental food like this available is that you will crack into it before reaching the point of starvation. Ideally eating it so that you can continue to function as you normally would. Having something that tastes adequate makes it easier to maintain that level of Civility. Before you go trying to run after a squirrel because you have absolutely no food in your stomach. So for me taste is a factor.
Let's face facts. In an actual emergency situation where you haven't ate in a few hours to several days, that food is going to taste amazing!!

@@Ender3Me i think patriot supply has quality in their product . some food in the grocery doesn't last long compare to freeze dried food. i saw reviews from my patriot supply and they look honest from happy customers .
@@BizkayneBatman they all source the same dried foods and repacked in different brands and containers. Walmart and WinCo foods have the best prices for the same product. So basically the reviews you are seeing about patriot will be the same about "other brand"because the food supplier is the exact same. Don't believe me, then call the company and ask.
Does the 1 year supply ever go on the "Deal of the Day" at a lower price?
They do but not as much as some 9f the other things. Better bet might be to find a UA-camr who is affiliated with the company and generally you can get a cheaper rate on the one-year Supply. I'm not but there are those out there that are.
@@Wanderer001_Reviews thanks .. but now I'm watching some do it yourself emergency food plans that are much cheaper and there are not mostly carbs. Thanks
To each his own. I definitely have found myself supplementing the year supply stuff with other items.
@@Wanderer001_Reviews It's 25% off right now through InfoWars store this week.
@@savemoney911 you'll be gobbling on carbs like they're God's mana when shit hits the fan.
My thing is wtf am I getting the water when the energy crisis hits
Just like food prep, making sure you have a supply water is also important.
@@Wanderer001_Reviews one that lasts for 25 years.
If you can't get access to water when the shit hits the fan, you won't need the food.
How do you know this last 25 years?
You kind of are taking their word for it. But it's very similar to any other dehydrated food. With a similar shelf life.
It's too bad the word "patriot" has been reduced to a marketing word. It used to be a great word. Having said that, good review.
Yea yeah yeah apocalypse. STOP voting for it to arrive.
Everybody's taste are different y'all do know that right? There's more reviews on this food that they like it then those who don't like it, just depends on the person, not only that people need to learn how to doctor up their food a lot of these taste tests they eat it with no salt or anything in it when they don't even do that with their own cooking
This will be amazing when you haven't eaten in days!
So would dirt. But my thought is to eat this before you get to that point, or if you have kids.
You didn't show the dates of manufacture.
I did not as the dates should change depending on when in the future someone is watching this.
Can someone fact check me? I've heard that the owner of My Patriot Supply real name was Mathew David Parker before he changed it to Mathew Redhawk. I heard rumors that he was a predator.
If I’m eating this, I probably wouldn’t have anything to add for flavor or texture.
That is true but also why I picked up extra salt and sugar. Figure if necessary might be able to trade for something to add a little zest to what I have.
In the 1 year supply, How many of the large plastic buckets are there?
2 per box. Mine are blue w black lids
There are 24, 5-gallon containers, with a min. of 2,000 calories per day for 1 person. Best prices and calorie count than any other company I've looked into.
I’m showing you cooking it I thought all you had to do is boil water put it in inthe pack and let it set is this not correct ?
Not exactly. Which is why I talked about making it.
@@Wanderer001_Reviews thanks man
This looks like a rip off.
I'm sure your parents say the same thing about you.
OK I can't find anywhere on how to prepare all the food, do you literally just add water and simmer everything?
Yes most of it is add water and simmer for x amount of time.
4:45
How is there no way of knowing how to reduce the amount
If it says 4 cups of water , say, and it’s 4 servings. You’d do 3 cups of water and 3/4 of the package for 3 servings..
Any serving amount could be reached for any product with this pro rata method..
I am a lazy man, I just did not want to have to do math. But you are correct. That is a way to calculate what you need.
I'm new at this it still seems water is top priority then to heat it ???
That is correct.
just a quick note, none of this stuff will taste good unless you are hungry. go on a starvation diet for two days and then see what it tastes like. You are welcome.
Hunger is the best spice.
I love how you guys are so unprepared for the now / IS, and spend so much time with the future/ what IF. And we see the results. Good luck with that.
Is this food freeze dried
Dehydrated.
thx
Keep some spices👍
Do u have dog food?
Now makes some videos showing the weapons you intend on relying on to defend your family & supplies.
Now that type of thing you keep a secret.
@@Wanderer001_Reviews 😆 good one 👌🏻
If you come to my property and you're trespassing you just may find out! ;-)
@@Wanderer001_Reviews My options are a .22, a 9mm and a 12 Ga. Shotgun. If they take me out I am taking somebody with me.
Great review
Thanks, happy to help.
No MREs?
They have MREs as well.
I just got mine in today and I'm going to tell you I'm not too impressed with it
How was it? Taste.
Yeah taste???
My in-laws gave us several totes of this product. During Hurricane Katrina we had MRE's that tasted way better than this. Read the ingredients. You'll flip! Taste wise, this stuff is awful.
Don't waste your money. Honestly.
I have not tired any MREs but have been trying MT house as another option.
Ok sorry just finished the review you have to cook it lol
Doesn't seem to be much good protein in those meals.
These did focus more on carbs. I see some of the newer kits that they have protein included as well.
@@Wanderer001_Reviews I wonder if it's good-quality protein, or low-quality like beans and peanut butter.
@@harvlinny8148 Little bit of both: mypatriotsupply.com/collections/emergency-survival-food/products/mega-protein-kit-with-real-meat
If life gets this bad that we have to eat freeze dried food to survive I think I’d rather die.
You think that until the way you're dying is by staving to death. Supposedly one of, if not the worst way of dying.
Not me. If I had the choice of starving because I ran out of food for 2 or 3 months, or eating freeze dried food for those couple months, I'll eat! These emergency packs are TEMPORARY, not forever.
Survival of the fittest......
I'm IN 🎷🏆🏆
It would have been really great if the video consisted of a review. Not just this guy rambling for 8 minutes about shit that doesn't matter
I can say that all the footage and photos in the video were shot by me.
this contains soy, all soy is GMO
I was interested in your food but I have to listen to a long, long. Long Talk. Before could find a price and by then I was disgusted
I wish the potato soup didnt have onions in it!!! I hate onions.
I hear that, but you really don't notice them.
