Viewing Tornado Aftermath in I-96 Near Williamston, MI 24-Aug-2023

This is the aftermath of an F2 tornado that touched down near Williamston, MI the evening of 24-Aug-2023. It was reported as an F2 tornado - but there are almost two miles of complete destruction. The wind took small wooded areas nearly and broke nearly every tree. It looks like a giant took a massive string trimmer and mowed all the trees down leaving a post-apocalyptic scene. This was on both sides of the road and cornfields were completely flattened near the wood lots.

Thanks Chuck. Got off exit in Fowlerville and sat for 20 mins. Got back on 96 and sat for a couple hours just passed Webberville till they redirected us back to M52. Never seen anything like that.
