LOL. I THINK you may be over-exaggerating a bit, but I get what you are saying. What they deliver, for what they cost is simply amazing. As I've mentioned, I have the SparkoS SS3602 Dual Discreet OpAmps on order and am REALLY curious to see where this may take the V3s...
Thanks for covering this budget product. I have a Fosi BT20A Pro. With upgraded ps. Its pretty good for what it is. Op amp upgrade will be next, looking at the Sparkos.
The Oracle II 02 is a great opamp for far less than sparkos. Be careful though because there are lots of fakes out there. Audiophonics is the official distributor and it’s in France unfortunately but I was able to buy 10 of them for $100 shipped to the USA.

I’m back in the Class D saddle again! The Purifi Eigantakt amp modules found in the Aurender AP20 has won me over! Out goes the 90lb Mono amps and distortion! John Ulrick would have been impressed with how far Class D has come.
Hello. It is interesting that you mention John. He was a good friend who passed away in May of 2015, while I was writing his tribute for the 2015 book, The Absolute Sound's Illustrated History of High-End Audio Volume Two: Electronics. (store.theabsolutesound.com/products/illustrated-history-of-high-end-audio-volume-two-electronics). His section may be found on pages 275 & 276.
In case it wasn't clear (🤣😉😁), these little dynamos REALLY knocked me out. I have the SparkoS SS3602 Dual Discreet OpAmps on order and am REALLY curious to see where this may take them. Those OpAmps have been receiving absurd praise from virtually everyone who has used them. More to come.
I had to scale back and sell some gear recently. Had a pair of bel canto monoblocks and black ice audio pre. Im now driving maggies and some Nola monitors with some Fosi v3 monos and a schiit saga2 preamp. Kinda shocked at how good it sounds.
Did you test them with the original op-amps ? The standard op-amps are low quality. Changing them out makes a big difference in sound quality. The designer of Qualio IQ speakers does a test on his UA-cam channel comparing them against much more expensive amplifiers. And with upgraded op-amps they come out favorable.
LOL... Really. The cables used in this system are listed on the site pertaining to my Second Space system - www.theaudioanalyst.com/second_space/ And while I know and have LONG contended that _everything_ , cables included, makes a difference, at the price points of the products in this system, cable influences are going to be fairly minimal versus the contributions of the hardware.
Audiophile snobs hate how good these are! 😂

@@theaudioanalyst It will make a dramatic difference....
I wonder what is next? The TPA3255 was such a massive hit. Texas Instruments must be working on a bigger more powerful chip.

Diminutive yet potent and precise..... Nice heads up.

We want comparison between v3 mono vs budget class AB amp like emotiva basx A2, marantz MM7025

you forgot to mention the effect of cables

An even more bonkers value is a pair of A07 max units with two 48v power supplies that will cost $100 less and offer similar performance.
