    I get on well with my sisters future husband. They met online and fell in love immediately. A month ago, they lived with us, but they just moved to a nearby town. I hope we visit them on Sunday because we could go to the church and give out food to the homeless

    Hey ! My exam is tomorrow and this was really helpful. I know you’ve done videos on the writing paper, but could you maybe go live the night before the exam to give us some last minute tips and tricks? I’m sure many others would also find this useful but I completely understand that it’s up to you!!

    Normally I see deber as must instead of should so why was must rejected in the mark scheme?

    • @AStarSpanish
      @AStarSpanish  7 місяців тому +1

      think about the context of the sentence: "you must enjoy it" is forceful not encouraging.
      'you should' enjoy it is more what you would say in English.
      like "you should make the most of it" not "you must make the most of it"
      deber itself can mean must OR should, but depends on the context!

      @@AStarSpanish alright that's fine I always get 4-5 marks on translations, in a good day 7-8. I feel like I don't really understand the grammar bit since I'm a native speaker so I find it difficult to get my head around it.

      acabar means to have just done something, definitely a key verb to learn!

    I get on well with the future husband of my sister. They met from the Internet and they fell in love immediately, it has been a month that they had lived with us, but they had to go to a village nearby. I will wait that they will visit us on the upcoming Sunday (Sunday that's coming) because we go to the church and we get food for the homeless.
