Thank you, as always. This was during the writers' strike, I think (as shown with the flashback from an episode before). It's still pretty cohesive. That moment with Reva and Philip near the end makes me sad, as I don't think their friendship was ever acknowledged very often after this betrayal...not until Grant Aleksander returned in 2009.
I was a freshman in highschool in 86. so when this aired in 88 I was probably a junior I’m guessing could be wrong but I’d say junior. I’m 54 now. I didn’t finish school until 90. GL AW and ATWT were my shows there were a few others that I also loved. But those three were my main all time faves
This was before actress Michelle Forbes who plays Sonny would appear in the sequel to escape from New York titled escape from LA which I believe was her first film after leaving GL. Which I saw because she was in it. Plus I liked her patrayal as both Sonny and solita which was a pretty good storyline. Although the best DID storyline was the hilarious Sharlene/ sharly story over on another world which didn’t start until 1990. But the Sonny/solita and the Sharlene/sharley did storylines were my favorites. As for the whole viki/ Niki over on one life to live it was so so Ericka slazak did a good job though sometimes over acted but she did ok.
Even though I I think the second Allan was a lot hotter. This one one was good too. It would have been nice to see him and Reva as a married couple and her are still pining for Josh but being Queen of the manor for a while
I think Reva is saying "Kyle & Ben" meaning their story in general and then Beth disappearing from a boat on Stoney Lake as all of that happened the same summer. That would have been 1986 so I'm not sure why the line was written as 'last summer' since it'd been almost 2 years. There were only passing references to Kyle after Larkin Malloy left in December 1986.

That's a great point - it's interesting how some character storylines would intersect over the years and others never really had much to do together.
@@Tennbelle9yes, and an example is Fletcher and Reva when Reva returned in ‘95, the writers never acknowledged their close friendship
Love to see these. The memories. I was a freshman in highschool and wow are all the hair styles so relatable!! 😊

Carl T. Evans is sizzling in the opening credits, lol.

Would anybody ever excepted a Reva/ Philip romance before Beth came back from the dead.?

What was the reference to Stoney Lake and Kyle, Ben & Beth all disappearing. Did they actually write more for Kyle after Larkin Malloy left the show?
