Absolutely fabulous!!!!!
This looks great! I love loose flower paintings 🎨
My favorite flower that matched some china...I have fretted over and tried over to paint this flower.....sensational teching techniques to make it a success. Thank you so much for showing me your technique! Loved it.
Tippy-tapping and twisting were the techniques that I love on this lesson. You are a wealth of knowledge AND so talented! Thank you for sharing.
Love it, Ellen! We love our hydrangeas on the Cape! These are beautiful! Thank you.
Beautiful Ellen. Definitely going to have a go at this.
So beautiful! Love it💜!!
So much fun. I really enjoyed watching this.
Absolutely beautiful!!!
This is so timely for me! I just spent 2 painting sessions on an attempt at hydrangeas for my daughter and it was an epic failure trying to be too concise! I am going to give your approval a try. Yours look gorgeous!
You make it look so easy! Lovely painting, thank you 🙏💖
I needed this today. I’ve been painting acrylic the last couple weeks and I needed to get back into my watercolors…..so relaxing😊
We bought last week a hydrangea for our garden. Yesterday I painted it with the help from your tutorial and I am very happy with the picture. You gave so many helpful advices to paint loosely!! Many thanks from Germany!😊

Question: is there a paper you can recommend that is a little less expensive than Arches for my practice? Or does practicing on crummy paper make me worse?
Is there a video you can refer to me, about setting up the paints that you use. I was wondering about why you have paint all around your pallet, and if it dries up that’s okay.. because it’s watercolor, and how to prevent all the colors from bleeding together on your pallet.. and how to clean your pallet, while still leaving your swatches of paint on there. How to set up the cotton paper, where to set it up, if you place anything underneath to hold it in place or a paper towel to prevent spills. You still use the old fashion water in a cup method, what do you think about the brushes that have water in them? I have just recently saw those on amazon. What colors to start off with… I look at all the colors and I see how much each one costs. I’m just trying to start out, but I didn’t realize the start up cost for each color. The difference between those paints and a pre set color pallet is? An explanation on the products you use and why you use them. I am so clueless about how to use watercolors.
Have you ever had a person in your class that has had no art and is very old(88) and think they can learn watercolor?
What pallet is that please?
Love!!!
I just love it. Need to learn the twist and turn 😊
