- This time we're taking a look at Sonic 3D Blast, one of the many black sheeps you'll come across in the franchise and probably the most odd title out there on the Sega Genesis. Here I will give a full breakdown on why this game was not exactly one of the hedgehog's best moments, especially after coming off the heels of Sonic 3 and Knuckles.

As a person who played this game a ton of times as a kid, I can agree on darn near every assessment you posed to us in this video. Very flawed, but it was still something. And Volcano Valley is truly hell.
Yes...Volcano Valley is the place of nightmares. I can still say that it's without a doubt the hardest level in the game.
@@2elusivereviews Without the fire shield + the game mechanics, this level makes you wanna drink lava.
Omgosh! I actually love this game!
I did too!! ...When I was younger ._.
True to your word good to see Elusive.
Thanks homie! :D
This game came out in 1996 what the hell do you mean,
Did I make a mistake somewhere? Must've missed it.
@@2elusivereviews I don't know i just think that the game is great for a 16 bit console but thats just my opinon
@@Gojothesupersenior69 Ahhhh, okay I get it now. I thought I might have mentioned the wrong year when it came out or something...
In any case, yes the game is old, but that does not absolve it from criticism, especially when there are other games that came out around the same year and aged pretty well. I played it from start to finish (Twice, one on Genesis, then did it again on Saturn) and its pretty much a heavily flawed mess.
@@2elusivereviews I agree like alot of games for sonic back then we're kinda werid like how they re released the exact same game for the saturn but they only changed the mini games which doesn't make sense,
