Mercy like a gun When you've come undone I've awoken in the hour That receives no one The sound of a tribe Will shake me out until sunrise The heat of tomorrow Released as the wind blows A beating stare from all the trials No sleep tonight The howl from below The wolf and the soaring crow Am I losing control? Am I losing all of control? All spirits in trance I toss and turn in no romance From six under the grass The prison breaks like glass Stripped of all the air in my lungs now Flee from the walls, so alone Stampede in the room like a buffalo Raise me up in my throes The howls from below The wolf and the soaring crow Am I losing control? Am I losing outta control? All spirits entrance I toss and turn in no romance From six under the grass The prison breaks like glass Upon the burial lie thieves of their past Firewater, tenacious Upon the burial ground Upon the burial ground Between the living And the dead we move Between the living And the dead we all move Shift all placement But they're sifting you Between the living And the dead we all move The claim we stake A land within our wake A garden in the bones A headdress down in the soil we own, whoa We build it on the bullshit Or build it upon the burial A garden in the bones A headdress down in the soil we own, yeah Stripped of all the air in my lungs now Feeling so alone Stampede in the room like a buffalo Feeling so low (whoa oh) Pull out all the ground from below You've, given quite a show Stampede in the room like a buffalo Raise me up in my throes The howl from below The wolf and the soaring crow Am I losing control? Am I losing all of control? All spirits entrance I toss and turn in no romance From six under the grass The prison breaks like glass Upon the burial lie thieves of their past Firewater, tenacious Upon the burial ground Upon the burial ground Upon the burial ground Between the living and The dead we move (We move) Mercy like a gun
Love what you're doing with the stems here, man. This is definitely a standout album for Spencer, and I love hearing his vocals a little more isolated. "From six under the grass the prison breaks like glass" is one of my favorite lines on this album, and this mix just makes it sound even more epic. Great work!
I really wish man, but there are no stems available (at least yet) for Clear. I think it likely isn't possible altogether though, as the PII stems came from Jammit. A separate app entirely from the other 3 stem packs. Clear EP was unfortunately never on Jammit, nor was it recorded in the same fashion as Juggernaut, P3, or P4. At least with P3 and P4 they had clear intent of making stems from the beginning, it seems. That said it's likely we'll never see the tracks stripped down -- but half are already instrumental anyway.
@@wollsmoth69 thanks! I'm still not very familiar with English music production jargon. There's just a certain amount of fizz on the vocals that give the impression that it's pitch corrected.
@@wollsmoth69 I know for a fact that Spencer didn't use autotune (well he did on p1 but hated it). We know nothing about the presence of pitch correction on this album. It wouldn't be out of place on lots of tracks on this record by the way, we all know Spencer's the GOAT.
Actually, P2 is the only one without any pitch correction. Anything after that he has used pitch correction. I read a comment from him about it some time ago, it went something in the lines of "I already proved in P2 that I can do without pitch correction, so I don't feel bad about using it now if it makes recording vocals less tedious." And who cares if it's pitch corrected, if it sounds good it's good!
Came here for 3:36 perfection
I was waiting for these, damn his vocals sound so epic.

To be fair, it's really ambient sounding with just the vocals. Quite a perspective-changer.

One of my favourites from the album.
0:45-1:07 The chorus is so damn catchy.
The garden in the bones melody in Reptile might be my favorite part in the album.

This is sooo sick! Thank you so much for the upload! I'm subbed, looking forward to hear more. Any chance you can get your hands on tracks for Clear?

@@GRAG3R aww man, that blows! Either way the songs are still great, I love Clear! I think it's super underrated
Definitely. That was also in and around when Nolly started to help produce / engineer them. Which made the sound extra great.
Can you please make a drumless track of this..!?
Satellites!? Appreciate these
fk ye
Is it the doubling that gives the impression that there's pitch correction, or is it just pitch correction on the lead vocals?
Ilian Petit That’s called layering.
