The fact he had to ask is leading me to believe he’s come across a few swamp holes and if they’re not that clean especially knowing where that is leading I would worry about what else needs to be attended to. Also as an adult I wouldn’t go anywhere where I’m uncomfortable if your food smelled spoiled I would hope you wouldn’t eat it so maybe check what they’re “serving” before diving in to eat.
