Most PU alternatives like mock PORON, Alpha Cell, POLO are extremely close in price to actual JP PORON now. I think its just brands not wanting to put in the effort to deal with having to go through sourcing it whether it be inexperience/laziness or believing the PU options they have on hand are good enough or better suited.

I would recommend a faster set of skates and slower pad. Tiger ice you have are solid enough but if you just want to try something new the Xraypad Jades or Obsidians are pretty nice. For pads I would recommend the Vaxee PA/GSRse for budget, Nana/P51 for mid price, and saturnpro/zero soft for high end.
Where do you buy the skates? I purchased the equate v2 plus and im looking for some skates for this mousepad, i have the stock viper v2 pro skates, but i dont know if the jade dots are too much speed for me, i play valorant by the way

Definitely the mousepad of all time. You can get art on a Rogers JP PORON base when the fabric is dye subbed before getting laminated to the base.

speed wise, yes. but its much thicker and better in all ways imo (i hate the es1 lol)
