Thanks for a great review - it's gone to the top of the wishlist. I was already tempted and had previously browsed BGG for it. Then I ran into that forum thread on the box art - which is hilarious and recommended reading :-D
At least for me, certainly not. I've got Falling Sky, Fire on the Lake, Liberty or Death, Andean Abyss and A Distant Plain... I still plan on picking up more of them. They're great games I wish I got to bring to the table more. Sadly, a lot of my friends find the 'sort of allies' aspect a bit stressful. So, no. Certainly not repetitive. Think of it like having more armies to play a miniatures game you love. It's more variations on a great system and once your potential opponents know how to play COIN, you can get a ton of new wargaming scenarios without the teaching time.
i have a question. Gallic tribes dont looks the same? I remember Cuba libre where fraction are differents and here we have 3 gallic fraction that have only 2 differents actions.
total beginners to strategy board gaming (meaning, people who only played Candyland and Monopoly), probably not; board gamers that are total beginners to wargaming, YES, certainly yes.
Marco , I have watched your reviews of loads of games . Not once have I heard you say , " This game is fucking Rubbish , don't buy it ." Why is that Marco ?. Are you getting free games to say good things about Rubbish games ?.
Nice looking games on those selves!
seen something familiar ;-)
A few of my favorites.
Un punto di riferimento per i wargame! Grazie Marco!
Love your reviews, made me pre-order this game! Keep up the good work.

Another great review. Thanks! Haven't bought any COIN games, but this one interests me the most.
it's time to gert started; FS would be the perfect game for that!
Have played Andean Abyss, Distant Plains, Fire In The Lake, and Falling Skies. Falling Skies is the only one I have liked, and I love it.
Kudos for mentioning the potion 👍🏻😊
Most won't even know what "magic potion" is being referenced to....
Hi, do you think owning multiple coin games will be repetitive?

Definitely going to hunt this one down. What are your other favorites in the COIN series?
I haven't played any COIN games. Would that one be a good one to start with? Solo?
nvm, this is answered at the end of the video, thanks.
yes, but to reiterate: perfect point of entry, and accessible enough that you can play all sides without using the AIs.

is it a game for total beginners and can you make a Lp for total beginners of it?

Marco, when you gonna review that Bomber Command behind you?
Yuor just Pro gaul
Not a fan of that box art. Yikes.
Indeed. Especially the font.
Compare that to the box art of A Distant Plain for example.
Board looks nice tough.
Marco , do you get these games for free to play test them and say good things about them even if they are almost unplayable ?.
do you think this game is unplayable?
How is the game unplayable
@@drbasseri Far from unplayable, Not my favorite but that is due to the theme not mechanics.

Though the heavy tone is unnecessary there is a point here: your reservations, Marco, about a game would be good too.
