I recently played Heat for the first time, and I was extremely impressed by the thematic and strategic mechanics in the game. It was fun trying to balance out when to punch it for a burst of speed, and when to downshift to ease around a corner, as well as clearing some heat from my hand. My first play was solo, and the AI was challenging but not unbeatable. I'm really looking forward to teaching the game to friends and trying it multiplayer.
If you enjoy the social aspects of board gaming then I think you'll really enjoy playing with people! Its really fun to root for/against those adrenaline card draws that might cause a spinout, or dramatic overtakes on the big stretches. I really enjoyed it playing at 6 players (:
Soooo I actually like this game and didnt realize how much exactly until after I sold it lol. I played the basic mode first like most people and thought "eh this isnt as fun as people are saying" and thought it was essentially a simulator with very little variance just based on luck of the draw. BUT I played months later, with conditions and drafting advanced cards and WOW it really does change the game! I'm excited to hear what you think after the advanced play additions and even Heavy Rain. I will say its definitely more fun with more players!

It's such a smart design! Everything is so logical. I should try it with a few AIs mixed in!
