For me it was Intarsia this year. I really wanted to love it because I really like the Azul series. Game components were neat, but after playing it twice now don't think I'll play it again. Vs Azul base game I've played over 200 times with people I know (and won't even mention the count with random people on bga).
Wait, how are the mushroom tracks in gnome hollow hard to track? As soon as someone sells mushrooms you block out how many they sold, thus keeping track for you. There is no memory required. Then you can just glance at the track and tell what quantities of shrooms have been sold.
Different strokes I guess. Haven't played Let's Go To Japan with anyone who didn't like it. The strategy and scoring seem pretty straight-forward.
Indeed “seem” is the real kicker. Some people especially autistic like myself process information differently

Brave James, Brave, lol. Even though I liked it, I do have to agree with your keen assessment of why Seti is not all it could be.

I’m talking about those lines of mushrooms that you’re laying down. Was really nice on BGA that it drew out your paths.
You really should retitle this too "My Worst Games of 2024" Nothing in this video was objective, it was all your personal, subjective opinions, lol.
Well duh lol as is all the rest of the Top X of X on the internet. Got you to click and comment didn’t it ;) lol
I agree with many of these. 👍
High five!
Funny list.
You should see my stand up routine
Agree with Seti. Overhyped and super boring game.
It has potential but it needs to be shorter
