Sorry for the late response, to be more correct it was about 1.8 in won bc my name was missing on the list for the dorms..?? Im not quite sure but for some reason there were technical issues despite me filling in the forms the provided before hand.. and so i was put into the most expensive room which i assume are left empty for students with disabilities to live in. It was a single room and VERY big (big enough to fit another bed into the room) and as I was living in E-house I had access to great facilities. However I think it is a bit pricey to pay for a single room especially when ur already spending a lot of money studying abroad 😭 for me i pay for my own tuition so it was a but of a burden. Tbh if i could keep affording it and could stay there for the rest of my studies I would haha but i was a but ticked off at how the price they mentioned and what I paid was so different
Lo ‘ if ur coming for exchange then most likely you’ll be put in I-house if ur coming for a degree then you’ll most likely be assigned e-house. Our school has a system that randomly assigns students to what rooms they get (for fairness) so you might be given hanwoori as well. But E-house is reserved for first yrs!!

you can still apply, you would just have to take either the TOEFL (for English speaking courses) or TOPIK (for korean speaking courses) to prove your proficiency in that language

Well, from what I know, no. I'm also applying for the EGPP scholarship and I don't have to prove the 20k bank account balance. When you apply for a scholarship, it means that you don't have the money for it. Only if they don't grant you the scholarship, then you'll have to show the bank account balance

I was confused about that in the beginning as well, but in the end I figured it out. If you want, I can tell you what else you need and what essays you have to write without doing it, so that when you'll have to complete your whole online application, you'll just have to insert all the papers.

No you can still apply once you're graduated they're just saying that if you havent graduated by the time september rolls around you cant apply
It's not necessary to wait a whole year, you could apply for the fall semester instead, but that's up to you😊
