Thank you for sharing some of your traditional language & spindle techniques. Very easy to comprehend ... well in theory anyway lol Cheers from Australia 🐨 🐾
I made my own drop spindel but I will also make one like this. I learn by watching many people then do my own spin to things. Yes I am disabiled with a learning disability. I always wanted to try different culture ways of spinning sense I was little. Now that I have my own place I can make and create at will.
Great instruction/ explanation on managing the spindle and the wool, very clear! May I ask what is the difference between the warp yarn and the cross yarns? And how is that managed? Thank you very much. Liked and subbed
Hi, Mr. Chase. Thank you for the tutorial. I would like to learn more about purchasing a spindle, like the one you work with here. Would you still be able to help me with that? I know it's been quite some time since this video was initially posted. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. Hugs
@@LVXMagick Thank you. I wanted to support the people and heritage so badly. I ended up buying a Schacht and was sadly disappointed in the quality, to where I have only tried to use it once. The shaft was so bowed it would bounce around wildly. I hope to save up again to get something made with care and skill, not a mass-produced, machined one. Hugs
@valarie Paxton-Steele. I have a schacht hip spindle. I would suggest calling/writing them for advice. You should not be disappointed in a tool made to make beautiful things.
