I tried it in Sephora and I loved it. I wore it out after spraying it on pretty heavily and got lots of compliments. I think this isn’t for everyone. That almond note is dominant but I don’t dislike that. Personally I plan on purchasing it!
I love it. Bought the 30 ml.I wore it for the first time yesterday. Lasted all day but it does sit closer to the skin. Very unique vanilla. Expensive smelling.
Ahhh I am glad you love it. Yes, it does sit closer to the skin but equally lasts longer than some other Tom Ford fragrances. I’ve kept a decant back to keep playing with it more
I love TF fragrances, mine being Black Orchid, Ombre Leather, & Fabulous. These have great staying power and smell so sexy and expensive but the more recent ones are quite naff and dissapointing in comparrison. The thing with perfume is what works for one doesn't worth for another. Not buying a fragrance based on someone's opinion is as silly as blind buying. Try and test for yourselves❤

I purchased it because I collect TF fragrances.....I am disappointed because I expected more projection for the cost. It is a very expensive skin scent.....I am looking forward to the new release of Vanille Fatale....and hope it won't disappoint. People that have obtained a sample say it is not the same as the original. Happy New Year .
Ahhhh they have Vanille Fatale on Selfridges, tempted to try that one next. I think I would repurchase Vanilla Sex in the future should I get a big discount but same as you, I expected more than a skin scent

Tom Ford is not a brand that interests me (if you have to use shock tactics on perfume names, it stinks of overcompensating for rubbish scents in my view), but I watched this and found it really helpful, plus loved your honest approach! Really nice to see you and hope you feel better soon.

I’m so torn on this one, like you mentioned it doesn’t smell like what I expected I thought it was going to be sweeter. I love almond so I actually like this perfume, I’m just disappointed in the projection. This turns into a skin scent quite quickly on me. The packaging is so gorgeous though. I’m debating if I should return. Definitely agree that this is not a safe blind but.

It was sent back because it arrived faulty and I didn’t repurchase it. I like it and part of me wants to repurchase but for me it’s not worth the money at this point

I smelled it at Sephora and honestly, I dont think anyone should ever BB TF. Poor projection, staying power weak, and generally these are over hyped. It's a nice almond dry vanilla musk, not sweet. It's a pass for me. So many better vanilla, almond scents out there. Feel better.
I’m happy you’re able to get your money back. This fragrance is a dud. Don’t give Estée Lauder $350 for a small, run of the mill, weak and boring scent. Occasionally I will buy TF, there are a couple of fantastic and unique scents, this isn’t one of them. Hope you feel better soon.
I was super disappointed in this one. Smelled like synthetic vanilla play doh to my nose and then smelled just like hypnotic poison on me in the dry down. Going to save my money and stick with hypnotic poison!
OK let be honest its a nice skin scent...and i have a lot of this kind of scent but for this price point its a robbery .....another underwhelming release from TOM FORD....
