This smells good. I think this is one of their best safe releases in recent years. The florals reminds me of his F Fabulous and Lorenzo Villorezi’s Teint de neige (one of my fave). This is like a sexy vanilla 🤷🏻♀️

TF will not get my money with that one. With their insane prices, and decrease in quality I am pretty unlikely to spend my money on that. I read many ppl with tastes similar to mine saying that it was not worth the price. I am not the target customer as I do not like gourmand, and I am not a Vanilla fragrance fan. I do not really understand the interest of having so many vanilla fragrances when there such a vast diversity of other fragrance types out there. I’d rather go to Guerlain for a good vanilla, no loaded with proprietary chemical Ingredients !
This sounds good and nice notes but it cant be better than the Guerlain Planifolia 21 extrait which is the best vanilla ive ever smelled as well as my friend. Its going to be hard to ever find a perfume that performs and smells better than the new Guerlain Vanilla extrait
I work at a Nordies, got the tester, I will not be picking this one up for myself. There is an off putting sour note in it. Probably the bitter almond and floral notes. There are way better vanilla fragrances IMO.
Wasn’t interested at all because of the name and because I have too many vanilla frags. But when you said it’s better than Lost Cherry which is like in my top 3 of all time. Hmmmm gotta try it now. I don’t always like a milk accord. Like I love smelling Commodity Milk but I don’t wanna smell like that know what I mean? Like Elmer’s glue.

A few hours in I swore I was smelling Musk Pure or Musc Ravageur. I heard it’s got ambrette in too although it’s not listed. Super happy with it. I got an early hookup from Neiman’s too.

Hi Sebastian. I received a sample and wore it all day yesterday. I wanted to enjoy it, but I didn’t love it. It’s very creamy, vanilla and like a thick heavy cream of vanilla in my opinion. If you enjoy vanilla this is definitely the one. I have to honestly say the longevity is great. But, otherwise it’s a no for me.😢
I wouldnt call this vanilla personally. Its way more almond than vanilla, very almond nougat like you mentioned so while I dont mind it, Metallique and OG Vanilla Fatale are more up my alley

i smelled both the past couple of days vanilla planifolia for me is more amber based & vanilla sex is much more sweeter and the bitter almond really shines through the most! both beautiful vanillas but definitely different.
Unfortunately, this did not work for me 😢. It’s giving, Musty Sex, rather than Vanilla Sex. I love the opening that was full of almond and a hint of tonka, these did not last long enough for me. Toward the dry down, it gave me something musty, salty and a bit sweet, like somebody came………….. in the bottle. I regretted dousing myself with it in Nordstrom 😅
Vanilla is definitely in vogue. Another thing that is in vogue is layering. The simplistic notes in Vanilla Sex will layer well with other fragrances, and this satisfies two trends at once.

I’m taking a bunch this time as I’m not buying much in the way of perfumes in Japan since it’s not really known for perfumes. Otherwise Europe travel I will probably only take one or two since know I will buy bottles there. But usually always 30ml or smaller size or decants or samples. 😀

On me this is a dark, and very dirty-musky vanilla, and to me this bottle is way too vanilla 😂, it should have fit better in the new dark brown Vanille Fatale bottle. I smell a LOT of dirty musk, a bit skanky even. There are no almonds (and no bitterness), no flowers. Just dirty vanilla musk. Its name, to me, therefore is perfect! I’m enjoying it but won’t be wearing it to the office 😅 Fascinating how everyone smells different things!

My local Sephora here said it might be launched in store on the shelves on Boxing Day (Dec 26) let’s see. I think they held off on it due to the fragrance for all discount. Curious - did they make a 100ml or the flacon size in this? I’d love to see the flacon bottle. But maybe they didn’t as I only see pics of the 30 and 50ml bottle sizes.

I was able to get it from Sephora yesterday. They were also having 20% off full sized fragrances so that's why it was so difficult to get.

We Italians have something called Terrone/mandorla which is a nougat and I love it...gotta check this one out.
Spanish have same thing but called Turron that’s what he is talking about it’s the same really as the Italian one

I was dissapointed I got so much almond from it. Almond sex doesn't have the same ring I guess.

There is a 250mil flacon size on the t f website .
Smells like Almond Orgeat syrup used for cocktails. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing.
