Hiya Megan, wonderful, fantastic, I love this!!! Thank you, I'm not very computer savvy and this is perfect for taking me through the process of how to do it, as opposed to how to mess it up, my way of doing it. What has this to do with making jewellery? Nothing. What has this to do with being a goldsmith? Everything! So again dear lady, thank you!!!
    Stay safe, Steve...

Hi Steve, really glad you found it helpful! I do try to share more than just the making and help people with the business side of things too as I believe this is so important to running a jewellery business! ;)

@@megan.collins you are so right, it is a complete package, you can't have the one without the other, and succeed. I find there are a lot of channels on here with taster videos that you then have to sign up and pay to get the full story. I'm signed to one but his work is top-notch, his teaching is excellent and is far cheaper than most. Have you done a video on the setup and use of a two gas torch? I've just brought a Smiths Little Torch but not set it up or used it yet. teachers talk about a soft flame, what is that? How do you balance the gasses? What not to do would be great too.
Thank you, and stay safe, Steve...

@@stephencoster9532 yes I really try my best to include info not only on the making, but on the business side too. With regards to the smiths little torch, I haven't ever used a divided gas torch like that before, just the big gas bottles at my old studio. But a soft flame means a more bushy, yellow gentle flame which is achieved by allowing less gas to flow through. The opposite to a strong flame which will become more pointy and blue. This is when there is more gas coming through. Hope that makes sense. I would recommend finding a specific video explaining how to set it up though as gas can obviously be dangerous if not used as intended. Happy soldering, Megan
