Down the street, around the corner from where I lived when my daughter was a little girl was a “Blessing box” Many times ,the only fresh vegetables I was able to give her was from that wonderful stand. Over the years, I played it forward in many different ways, but yes, the word “BLESSING”brought tears to my eyes watching your video this morning. I’ve ( right now) remembered something that I had forgotten, but unknowingly guided me through the years, giving thankslessly to others. It may seem like a small act of kindness on one person‘s part could make all the difference in the world to another. 😘
White board markers work great, and just wipe off with a damp cloth, and green beans could be tied in bunches with twine. This looks awesome, hope no one takes the stand! ❤

Jami I have a friend who puts all kinds of things in her gift card. For the neighborhood. She puts books. Plants. Clothes. Furniture etc. first she has something that is in great shape she will put it in the cart or beside it. People will come and look during the week. If she’s giving a gift that she can’t use she will add it. People in the neighborhood love it. Great ideal. She hates waste and there are people who are blessed. My brother does bees for a hobby and he sets all his honey out. They bring back his jars for refills. Beautiful gift to your neighbors
We have a community giving site and most of the items are baby clothes because kids grow so fast and many have never been used; also adult clothes and shoes, food items, household items. I am downsizing in my retirement and have blessed many young people starting off with their first apartment with dishes, pots and pans, linens, wall hangings, accessories. I feel so much lighter that these items which I no longer need or which don't add value to my life are of use for someone else.
This must only happen in the country right because in the city it would be stolen . Either you can't give it away or it gets stolen, society is messed up

I could never do anything like that here. 15 minutes, the whole thing would be vanished. This is one of the many reasons I watch you and Lester. The "Blessing Box" is truly such a wonderful idea Jami. Not everyone can grow a garden but do love all the vegetables which are produced, and I know that these are the very people who are loving this gesture the most of all. During this horrific inflation so many people are buying only the bare necessities and for them I imagine this is truly remarkable gift from the heart and are very appreciative of this too. Passing one's blessings forward seems to have been forgotten by most along the way and to see you doing this is just another example of the kind heart you have and speaks volumes to those who have probably passed by the LHL Ranch many times and even neighbors who have never met you nor Lester but now have an idea about the kind of people you are with this act of kindness which many may have never seen before. Down here in the south there are people that set up on the sides of t b e road, & just about wherever they can find a space, but no one that I have ever seen has given them away. I've received fresh dug potatoe, tomatoes & other veggies delivered to me by a local church who has their own garden & my next door neighbor. When I was gardening before being well into my retirement, I loved sharing my harvest. I had 12 tomatoe plants & had canned so many so I started giving them away. Now I grow my tomatoes in a pot, just enough for me. 👩🦳😊

Recycling plastic grocery bags by placing a few at the Blessing Stand to put the veggies in. My Mom always grew 15:14 a very large garden for her family of 7. We all helped. If she had not grown and canned or froze the vegetables, we would not have had many. I am so proud of Jami! God bless you! ❤

Jami add lime pellets to your garden for the tomatoes you can also use it in flowerbeds. No.more tomatoes rot

Jami you need an apron that has the bottom brought up to about halfway, sew there, and sew the sides shut. That way you have a place to put some veggies as you're picking
