beautiful work! Could you help me, I have 2 engines similar to yours and I need to know the part code that you changed the water pump. Could you tell me what is the code and model of it?
Hey Alexandre, I just responded to your other comment. If you follow those websites they will guide you through all the parts they have available for that engine. I would also recommend getting the SELOC manual (in the links in the other comment) and that will really help you find out what parts you need. Best of luck!
I wanted to see you conect the pipe to the oil cooler. i have a massive leak on mine yet there dosnt seam to be anything there to hold it down. Is it just pushed in? is there a clip anywere?
The pipe is essentially friction fit to to the oil cooler. There is only one place it gets screwed into. I’ll try to find a way to show you. Follow us on Instagram. Might post there
Watched half the video before realizing this is the same engine I’m working on. Just got it running. Woot woot
Nice!!! Congrats! it’s such a great feeling!
How cool are boat engines? Very cool.
Yes they are!

Hopefully you get her running and on the boat before summer !
That’s the goal! We got some even more good news in the next video!
Where did you find your parts i would like to change out my gaskets? On my copper pipes to the oil cooler
Please share the part numbers as im working on the same engine
Very good video. There is a small pipe next to the oil cooler (11:21) with a valve.... Is that a water drain for winterization process???
That is an excellent question! I believe you are right though. It appears to be a valve for releasing water from the block
@@DownToTheFrame Thanks friend...
you’re very welcome friend!
There are 2 places to drain water. The drain on the engine block and a drain on the oil cooler

Love it!
Thank you!!!
Just purchase my first boat 93excel with a penta V6 OVERHEATED THE first time and the antifreeze was in the bottom of the boat. What could it be?
there could be many reasons. Water pump could have failed and caused it to over heat. Could have been a cracked coolant line or many other things
Ty I'll keep you posted
Motor looks like a volvo aq 130.
You’re correct!
👍👍👌
Odd to me this hasn't taken off more.
