JK has gone live while folding laundry, washing dishes, vaccuuming, cooking, sleeping! Lol...he has eaten fried chicken and watched netflix while live. He has watched funny BTS compilations while live... JK basically hangs with us like we're his friends, lol. He's even rabdomly come live for a few minutes, tipsy, to introduce us to an idol friend who was hanging with him. 😆

They are always going live even during this time. You can find their lives on UA-cam if you want to react to them. Jin used to have a show Eat Jin where he’d eat while talking to Army. RM in the past has dissected each song on all of their albums. J-Hope had a show Hope on the Street, where he would practice dancing freestyle. Suga has a drinking show called Suchwita and each member has been a guest after they released their solo album. Jimin, V, and Jungkook just talk randomly with Army. Jungkook drinks and chats, takes song requests, and once fell asleep during the live. They also do lives on their birthdays. (September 1 Jungkook had a live and RM’s birthday is soon, September 12).
You guys should watch Suchwita! It's a UA-cam show where Suga hosts and has a different guest on every episode and the guest brings the drinks. All six of the other members have appeared as guests at some point and Suga was even a guest one episode where RM was the host. 💜
Yup, they're drinkers. Jin even makes his own using older Korean methods to preserve the history. He is teaming up with a famous Korean chef named Paik to create his own brand. 😁
Members continuously go live to this day. You still have a lot ahead of you and I hope you enjoy the ride! Watching the original content of these clips, is where you learn the most about these guys, but it definitely requires a commitment of time! I started in early 2019, and it took me a lot of time, even then…to catch up. Years. 😳 it’s so worth the investment of time though to learn of their individual personalities, and the incredible journey they’ve been on. 💜💜💜
Yes Weverse is where they connect with us…you get notifications when they go live…but most times they don’t have captions til later when it’s transcribed to English
I've been ARMY a year but I'm retired and BTS is just about all I do, 8 hours a day, minimum. It's never-ending.

Jin did multiple alcohol shows right before military including "Suchwita" and "Much about nothing"
They each have the ability to go live on their computers anytime. It's broadcast out on Weverse. We won't see any for a long time due to military. This is the method they used to connect with fans way back when they were being shunned by the industry. 6M+ will watch, and they answer questions if they can catch them in the speed of the chat.
Suga and Jimin are the best drinkers in the group, if there's such a thing as a good drinker. In the clip with the Irish shot, Suga was teaching baby Jungkook how to drink. JHope just goes numb. Suga has a talk show based on drinking, but it's not a "get drunk" show. He's a wonderful interviewer. It's called Suchwita.
They rarely drink. These clips are from special events and vacations. They work too hard to do that to their minds and bodies. You've just seen most of it.
Oh yes they drink- you guys should check out all the suchwita episodes!!!! They are so fun and every episode with each member so far is my favorite! I can’t wait to see V on there next!
Also I like Irish Bombs every now and then. It’s a glass of stout (Guinness is best) with a shot of half Irish whiskey and Baileys. It hardens if you don’t drink it fast! It’s like a coffee, beer float to me. I like it which is ironic cause I love whiskey but typically hate beer.
Korea is one of the biggest drinking countries in the world! It is part of their culture. They celebrate everything, example: after office hours with food and drink. Most handle alcohol very well. I'm not a drinker, however I do love the Korean culture.
The drinking culture of Korea goes back centuries. There are etiquette rules, rituals, and traditional wines and liquors. It is seen as a way to strengthen ties between friends, family, as well as co-workers and business interactions.

When BTS was vacationing in Malta, Suga took Jungkook to a bar to teach him about whiskey. Jk preferred milk-based liquor (preferably coffee flavor). Suga ordered the two Irish Bombs (1 pint Irish stout, 1/2 oz. Irish cream, 1/4 oz. Coffee liqueur, 1/4 oz. Irish whiskey), and showed JK how to drop the shot glass and chug it all down.
Before Jin entered the military, he was a special guest judge at Korean Heritage Liquor Awards. Afterwards, Jin learned how to make a traditional liquor called Takju from a master brewer. There is a four part series of Jin's Traditional Alcohol Journey on UA-cam.

Korea has a big drinking culture so yeaahhh…..it’s fun lol. Edit: you probably don’t see it often with BTS, especially with older stuff, because they don’t like to show drinking on their more public shows too often, especially when some of their members were still underaged. Tbh I remember a time when drinking on lives was a huge no no but BTS does what they want lol so 😂👍
I love Kdrama's.....where you see a LOT of drinking! It is a cultural thing. I am American. I love the Korean culture.

Okay, none of them drank ON CAMERA while they were underage. (I know there probably was a LOT of alcohol in their dorms back in the day! LOL Jin and Yoongi were already 20 at debut...Hobi was already 19...and RM turned 19 only 3 months after debut.)
Every country - and in some cases, it can even be based on city/province - has their own legal age limit.
I felt SO bad for Kook back at the 2016/2017 American award shows. Legally, he could drink at home (for South Korea it's 19, internationally/by birth year), but being in America, of course, the age limit is 21, so he couldn't. Well, not on camera, anyway. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if he did after the cameras were turned off, especially once they were back in their little "bubble" (secure hotel room), most likely with the others encouraging him to do so! LOL
They just didn't drink a lot on their shows - or during Lives - in the early years *because* so many of their fans were the same age as them/a little younger. Once they hit 21 or so (internationally), they didn't care as much, because 1 - most of their fans then (and now) are either the same age as them or older and 2 - legal drinking age is 21 in MOST places (there is only one country - Eritrea - where the drinking age is over 21, but everywhere else in the world, it ranges from 15 to 21 - with the vast majority being 18).

FYI: Drinking in Korean culture is a social event and part of your work life so they have a very high tolerance, it actually can determine how well you do in your career as most employees will be required to go out for drinks with the boss after work or for work meetings/functions etc, so if you don’t drink this can jeopardise your climbing the corporate ladder.
They even have alcoholic drinks that have a proof of 80% and that is usually minimum or a mid range level
They go on Weavers and drink some times especially JK. He goes on Wevers and has drinks with ARMY 😊 they also do their laundry and wash dishes and cook on Wevers live

Oh, they go live often and many disappear from reactors livestreams depending on the time difference. For me, I have to see if I can catch them early morning, but others have said they left an entire reactor’s livestream bc one went on Weverse and then came back. 😂😊💜

I think it should be said that drinking is a very much part of Korean social culture! Contextually, they aren't really 'big drinkers' necessarily due to this. It's the same in some European and other Asian countries too, but I guess not as universally part of the culture in America.
JKs lives are legendary. Your almost sure to catch one of them as he is on for 2+ hours and he literally does everything from putting on concerts, cooking, doing his laundry, working out, drinking and flirting with army and lying in bed flirting with army then falling asleep lol

Also as cute as drunk Kookie was, he's not completely wrong. Apples are considered pro-digestive fruits so eating them at night can make people uncomfortably gassy and can be disruptive to their sleep. That being said 'poison' isn't quite the right word choice there...but its okay cuz he's JK.
