- The Brother Roll Feeder is an optional accessory for the Brother ScanNCut SDX1200. It is used to load and cut rolled sticker material without the need for a mat. When the roll feeder function is selected, ScanNCut SDX1200 will automatically select the half cut feature.
For use with SDX1200 only.
Is it possible to cut a felt roll with a thickness of 1.2-2mm? Without the use of a mat, as well as in your video, without a mat. Thank you
nice to show the setup of the feeder, but you already have the material pulled out and it doesn't really feed....

Why was i told i need to use a mat for cutting and watched so many videos using a mat . but you dont need 1 for large decals. I understand there just not that long but could you cut 6 inch or 10 inch long decals with no mat. Just waiting for mime to come in. ? Thanks for video pretty cool stuff
Presumably because the backing for the rolled material is thicker and the fact is it attached to a reel prevents it from skewing out of alignment.
The mat is there in the case of needing to cut something completely through, as the mat is adhesive and keeps the cut pieces in place until the process is completed.

no you need a mat. but it does a great job.
