Due to the shots in the water, the film perfectly explains how drop shot really works and what is its advantage over other methods. Again very informative material.
Thank you for a great video! There are so much drop shot action happening in Latvia, especially for zander fishing. I'll definitely us the tips you gave for rigging, as previously I was not using that flexible method to switch between the styles.
Thanks a lot for sharing your experience, you'll be surprised if I tell that yellow perch is currently present in our lakes/ British Columbia/ and our fishery department wants us to....dispose the fish after being catch...as this beautiful fish is named as one of most undesirable and invasive specie ,threatening native fish 🐟 and on....so no catch limit on yellow perch. Question what to do with it? Leave it for raccoons or ravens? Crazy....thanks again 👍
Hi Gregory. You have so many amazing fish in BC, so if invasive species are threatening them, that are actually some of the best fish to eat, you should take advantage of that and enjoy the fishing and then the amazing meal a Perch can be :)
I own a SG 4 dropshot specialist rod 2.33m 5-18gr. with an SG 4 AG 1000 reel.. I find I can fish all the techniques with this combo. Dropshot,Ned,T&C,even light jigging with shads 10-12cm and jigheads up to 10gr. Even small twitchbaits work! All materials are Savage Gear of course. They have the most complete range of tools, rods, reels and anything you could ask for. I only wish they would make the clothing a size or two larger(up to 3-4 XL) because I'm a fairly stout person who does'nt fit in an XXL. 😂😂😂
Good advice and what’s i really like is the clear views of the actually set ups
Make note, this 4:25 is THE ONLY dropshot knot you want to use!
(The other one is easier and looks better, but it cuts line like butter!)
Brilliant, dropshot is my go-to method for perch on Lough Derg 🔥

9:40 Are these fridge magnets? Where can I buy them?
Cool tutorial 🎣.
you should try a nedrig at the bottom instead of weight
interesting, but also a good chance of tangling when casting?
Which rod do you use in this video, is it the sg2 3-12g?
Thx and regards from 🇩🇪

Can u explain how to drop shot in big rivers with heavy current?
Which rod are you using in this video? Is it the SG4 dropshot specialist? Or the SG4 light game?
Thanks in advance
Cool, dat is mijn hobby, Baars vissen.
Makes me want to go Perch fishing :D
Then a big part of our mission is a succes :)
What casting weight is your drop shot rod?
Do you connect your dropshot leader by a snap link
Yes, that works like a charm :)
What does the bite actually feel like
You'll either feel a heavyness or Jag Jag as they bite it. The trick is to scale down your braid and leader as much as you dare with the proper rod
Thumbnail: you know? I'm something of a fisherman myself.
Er det danglish jeg hører ? 🤔🇩🇰
Bonjour sous titre en français serait cool merci

the fixed lead is a NO ,,NO its not fish friendly you know that .
