Hallo, thanks for these Info. Do you know where i can get a Diskantklappe for my MANTOVALELLI. You have so many Material in your workshop. The size is 64x12mm for a 4 choirs diskant. Regards Christoph
Normally, the arm would be removed and cleaned. Then, I usually add some scratches in axial direction (along it) on the section that will be inserted in the key. These scratches prevent arm from rotating. After that, the arm is glued back in place wit PVA or hide glue. Hope this helps.

Where is part 2?
Hi, nice video on replacing the valve pads. A quick question: is felth always the material to use? Can thin leather replace felth? Thanks you.
Thanks. Yes. Thin leather works fine too.
Thank you for the nice video. Where do you usually buy the felt? Do you make it your self?
I bought several sheets from Ukraine a while ago and still using it. I bought felt with leather already glued to it.
@@seryozhka1 Thanks a lot for the reply. Wonder if they sell any online. Italian felt+ leather is so expensive..
@@tharsitis- Did you find any online?
Hi serge. Where do you get the material.

Hi Christoph. You can buy material on ebay and cut to size. Try searching for words: Accordion Felt Leather Flap Covering.
I have a broken arm on one of my keys. It broke at the pivot right where the rod goes through. How would that be repaired?
Normally, the arm would be removed and cleaned. Then, I usually add some scratches in axial direction (along it) on the section that will be inserted in the key. These scratches prevent arm from rotating. After that, the arm is glued back in place wit PVA or hide glue. Hope this helps.
