I think Endura is in a weird position between Catalyst and Fury. You give them better buffs they become better Catalyst, you give them more damage they become better Fury. Maybe give them like an ability that taunt the enemy to consistently attack them first so you can kinda "kite" the enemy for a moment
What I think would spice things up for the endure class if not buff it would be to add a mechanic that involves good timing. Given the pace of the game, endura sinners would benefit from parrying or deflecting certain enemy/boss skills where the player is rewarded with good reaction for moving them to the grid where the skill would be cast. The timings would be tight, and what their blocking could potentially oneshot or stun your sinners if it hadn't been for a well-timed parry, something your Hamel cant even help you with. I'd imagine that can add a lil bit of skill expression while also encouraging use of enduras.
Everything you said about buffing endura's has been done on CN which I am happy about. OwO can block 4 with her trait, buff allies, a 1+1 corebreak and chapter 9 and 10 has some harder enemies or so I've heard. Good video though.
I think a way to make endura classes more prevalent is to build up upon blocking enemies. Having enemies that require more than one block can easily make the more prevalent without affecting their stats.
In my case, I use endura a lots lol. I use chelsea and demon for blocking the enemies so I personally never think the class is bad ( though pretty often I change chelsea with borrowed hamel or my own ariel )
I think right now they sit on a ok spot. More recent enduras have found place as offensive support, also the 2 block required massive enemies are very convincing
Aside for that McQueen strat, as of now, there’s really no content where Endura class shines through. We either need burst DPS for BFL or sustained DPS for ToA something Enduras are not built for. Maybe in the future they’ll add a horde mode or a mode where you need to survive a timer with an onslaught of enemies. Interested with OwO though, looks like a very interesting unit.
It's not about class, it's their kites which are lack luster. Also bosses are easy to be melted down with DPS and cancel animation trick. Just make mobs that can only be blocked by endura and they will be back again, or make their kites better. For example with League of legends, tanks have low DMG but get compensated with CC and utilities, Demon is just a meatshield right now, if they added stun and debuff in his skills like 2s of aoe stun per 4th normal atk, he would be better, or added some debuffs to boss like with Che's debuff, they could have added a debuff for endura that makes the boss does lower DMG in their kites. IMO it's just poor design by developers that makes this class so unpopular.
i just realize this earlier, i built Demon and Demolia and never upgrade them anymore cuz Nox and Hamel does all the thing. With good timing, energy Potesta, and positioning through swarming mobs, most content of the game is beatable without Endura.
something about this game that did not even touched is how to divert pathing. only ch 7 or 8 iirc has a way to divert enemy pathing with worm hole. if Endura has it, like some sort of taunt or skills that blockade path as an ult then that might be good. also, i kinda want Endura to reset 'walk-blocking animation' from enemy. you know, the 1-2 sec they walk before start attack animation when they are blocked. if endura can do that, albeit by skill or anything, that might be better. or just take that Fury class doesn't have the privilege of enemy 'walk-blocking animation'. so they suffer attack faster than endura.
Lets face it, if you dont bring Nox you're playing the game on hard mode. That said with tides of Ashes where you can be reduced to using your 18th choice of sinner Demon ain't so bad.
I don't know, but in stages where I need to block enemies, Endura is more useful for me. Demon was my first S rank and I still use him to block or take all the dmg from bosses.
For someone who don't have hamel and don't know how to build Ariel properly i just realy on endura class like demonia who can block and heal herself and demon with crimbrad who have 99 face on it so he can heal himself when he use ult. And also demonia is one of my favorite character in PTN becouse she's simple to use just block and heal and her character who seems different from other character where other mostly emotionless, angry, sad, depressed, or looks like plotting something she looks like simple person who happy with whatever she got.
I thought the Endura would be useful later one when I definitely needed a tank, and then I got Hecate's crimeband that does everything Endura does, but is a free unit that doesn't effect the cap, aaaaaand that's when I realized I'd have to be desperate for a tank to actually use an Endura.
Just saying demon does slightly increase your allies atk too so there some buff at least lol. Honestly demon is good to be for most time playing ptn since game wouldnt give me hamel and i refuse to invest in ariel in the longest time before ex stage forced my hand. I will still use him over healer unless my hand was forced again. (also demon need more love due all slander he get bc some poor sap couldn't pull their waifu)
make future maps use a 7th sinner and develeope content difficulty based around that. I like having almost 1 of each archetype in one game so I can add an endura into it. I'm guilty of using the trio right now lol
I'm of opinion the devs had them in for story. An RPG type party build is natural. But, they forgot about them, lol.. Which I'm ok with. The game is fun and there's always a few throw away characters in the gacha pool. So really Endura's don't need fixed. Considering McQueen on top of this-- Is there an actual complaint? (Which this video doesn't--I'm not saying that. I'm just saying a lot was said facts wise, but nothing that screamed broken. Again, I'm not criticizing. I'm very happy with this channel/creator.) They're 7/51... I just don't see anything that needs to change. Party = 1 tank, 1 heal, 1 support, 2 dps. From there S tier fills double rolls, so a meta is created. If there's an issue with only a handful of sinners clearing content, as in the meta is unhealthy or paywalled, then Yes! Something would need to be done. But... Is this the case? (Free NOX, Labyrinth, & Luvia, and s0 viable for majority of S ranks) Love the PtN content! This is a great video because I love the discussion it sparks.
Buff the enemies' attack AND give all enduras a characteristic of a max damage limit (could be 30% of max hp). this would make sure you at least bring one endura to tank a boss's ult because, while normally it would ohko you, the max damage limit would make them unique and have the sole job of tanking boss ults
New Player here I ended up pulling Demon as my S-rank pull. Tier lists rank Demon at SS, should I reroll? I also pulled a lot of other A and B-Rank Endura. Even having just started, I think there are way too many Enduras for what they do. (I can never see a situation where you need more than 2)
Demon is the best Endura sinner but the endura sinners as a whole aint that good. Usually I would focus on getting someone like Eirene in my beginner rolls.
I feel like it would be better if they increase Endura block up to 3 enemies or just reduce Fury / Umbra block to 0 so that every enemy just pass through them (like Hamel), or just both ways. That way Endura can really excel as defensive class tanking the enemy waves so both Fury & Umbra can focus to offensive role as melee attacker behind Endura's back.

The S rank crimebrand Creed Of Bulwark II on an endura should by logic give them ability to hold more enemies than allowed
or give that to a fury character and bam , atk power endura
For me having Deamon makes everything easier to deal with boss fights but out of that it makes every match become slower.
i just realize this earlier, i built Demon and Demolia and never upgrade them anymore cuz Nox and Hamel does all the thing. With good timing, energy Potesta, and positioning through swarming mobs, most content of the game is beatable without Endura.
True!

True. OwO just sits in place and waits for a bunch of mobs with one core damage to appear, but they all don’t come, because they are not on this map.

In future chapters and events endura is going to be a must
If thats the case that would be good can finally put Demon to use

Honestly, I use Demon or any Endura for my team comp because of Hamel's shackle 3 passive rather than for any actual usability.
make future maps use a 7th sinner and develeope content difficulty based around that. I like having almost 1 of each archetype in one game so I can add an endura into it.

Right when chapter 9 - 10 and OwO is coming....
Owo says hi with core damage and buff
New Player here I ended up pulling Demon as my S-rank pull.

New cn endura character can do all things that u mentioned
Reads the lion head lolis ability ohhhh so you mean like this
So basically Aisno listen to your request and had Owo do those things
In summary, wait for OwO kekw
you forgot another thing that Endura has over Fury , HP
cuz .. you know ... Mcqueen
waka-waka~
I still think NOX is the best sinner in the game. Fight me! 😂
I agree
Endura trash class. You can got crimebrand +1 block and give this Fury Class. Fury>Endura[+1block]=God Fury!!!
I feel like it would be better if they increase Endura block up to 3 enemies or just reduce Fury / Umbra block to 0 so that every enemy just pass through them (like Hamel), or just both ways.
