So useful as was looking for this flight route. Truly appreciate the informative video! :)
Happy to hear that this was helpful! Safe travels!!
I am researching air travel options, so this excellent video has been a great help. Thank you! :-)
Glad it was helpful!☺
Very informative!
Thank you for this! I had a credit that I used to upgrade, can’t wait!
Awesome!! Have a great flight :)
Enjoyed the video! Can't wait to try P-Plus soon!
Thank you!! Hope you enjoy it!
I didn’t know we were allowed to take the pillows and blankets home lol wow
Thanks for that
Well, I'm hearing from some people that you're not allowed to but the flight attendants didn't stop me from taking them even though they saw me. I guess it all depends on the staff's mood?
I love crystal and how detailed she is
Aw, thanks!! 😁
I'm flying United Premium Plus for first time to Croatia in a few months I'm so excited for trip but excited to have comfortable seats with lots of leg room I'm getting were I can't stand to be in economy for flights longer than 5 hours so glad you made this vlog.
Awesome! I'm sure you'll be glad you got those Premium Plus seats. I've always been happy with it. Have a great time in Croatia!!
Croatia is awesome! I don't have the videos up on my travel channel yet, but I will be posting Croatia videos soon if you want to sub.
Economy Premium is the sweet spot! MUCH less expensive but with a wider seat, foot rest, drinks, etc. I totally agree! Surprised Japan Air gave us First class lounge access, First class grp 1 boarding, etc.
Japan Airlines is the best!
My bathroom access seating strategy, as well!
your dog is precious!!!
Thank you😊 She's the best!
This is my first time watching one of your videos and I must say you did an excellent job! Very informative and nice visuals! Is United Airlines your first pick of airlines?
Thank you so much! United seems to have more flight options to Narita from Tampa these past couple of years, so that's why I go with them. I prefer Delta or JAL, but I haven't seen many flight options with them recently or they are super expensive.
Thank you! I'm debating First or Premium Plus ORD-HNL...appreciate the details!🛫🌹
Glad it was helpful! Safe travels✈
Thank you for posting this detailed video. Basically, touching on every question we could have!
Our family is going to Amsterdam and looking into purchasing seats in premium plus, and it seems like a no-brainer.
We don't fly often, so forgive me If this is a silly question, but I noticed only one monitor in the bulkhead seats on the wall.
I'm just wondering if the monitors for the bulkhead seats are actually inside the arm or something. I'm not sure I don't want assume.
Thanks again and you have a new subscriber here!🎉
Yay! So happy to hear that this video helped you out. Yes, the personal monitors are taken out from the side of the seat :) Enjoy your trip and thanks for subscribing!💕
You sooo should have had a ton of room, out of your seat area! More leg🦿🦿👣 and foot room is so important! Thanks for sharing!!🤗🛫
Regular seats on airplanes don't have much room at all! Definitely need the extra space😁
Doing this trip in November.
Awesome! Safe travels!!
Amazing review! How was the recline for your seat on row 22? I noticed the wall was right behind you.
Thank you so much! I was concerned about the wall at first, but it was no problem at all. I still had plenty of space to recline back like the other seats in Premium.
@@travelpockets thanks for the response! There's 1 seat available on this row for my flight from San Francisco to Frankfurt. I may just take it!
Thank you so much for the info. So helpful. Could you share your experience with your feet and the person in the middle seat? My husband and I only have those 3-seat available to us. We chose the two aisle seats, hoping nobody will pick the middle seat. Seems like the middle seat has decent space from your video. In your opinion, would you pick one aisle and one middle or two aisles on two ends?
If you're worried about space underneath the seat, the middle seat definitely has more. I can't remember if the other aisle seat had more room or not but generally, the middle or window seat has more space underneath.
@@travelpockets thank you so much!!
Curious, are you sneaking off with the pillow and blanket or is it included?
Nope, I'm not sneaking off. The flight attendants clearly see me taking the blanket and pillow :)
@@travelpocketsok, I hope I get the same crew on my upcoming trip! Lol…..thanks for the great info.
I'm booking this trip soon. I was wondering how was the flight? Was if super bumpy. I'm always nervous. Flying out of Denver
Not bumpy at all! Of course, it always depends on the weather but this flight in particular was as smooth as can be. Happy travels!
I plan to travel from Texas to Seoul with United Airline. Do you book the premium economy or regular economy first and then upgrade? I heard many time upgrade is cheaper .
I usually book it beforehand. It could be cheaper if you upgrade. But recently, the Premium Economy seats on international flights are way more expensive than that it was a couple of years ago which is very disappointing :(
It was my first time flying United premium plus the other day heading to Vietnam. Normally I fly business class I made sure I got the front row seat cause I’m tall and long leg. It was comfortable. I would fly it again.
Thanks for sharing your experience!
I think the seat support intruding into your foot space night be due a standard position of the support is secured to the floor.. Premium Plus was in a 2x3x2 config. Regular economy on a 787 (I think you were on one of those) is 3x3x3. More seats and narrower. So the brackets may line up better in the economy section.
Did your seat have the leg rests that support the back of your legs?
I don't recall having support fo the back of my legs, but I may have missed it?
do the seats incline more than economy for better sleep? thanks
Yes, you get a bit more recline than economy seats.
I’m confused on the United Premium Plus seats and what comes with it. I’ll be booking a flight from Chicago to Honolulu soon, and some videos I’ve watched of reviews show a Saks pillow and blanket with an Away amenity kit while other videos show no amenities. How will I know if these extras will be on my flight or if the seat will not include these extras?
It all depends. You won't know which amenity you're getting until you get on the flight. Since Chicago to Honolulu is not technically considered an international flight, you might be getting something different?
You are not allowed to take blankets and pillows bye the way
Very seldomly premium plus is a few hundred dollars. An upgrade likely will be around close to additional $1k on top of ur fare.
Definitely have not paid more than $300 for premium seats but it may depend on the season and other factors.
@@travelpockets than u have been lucky. I certainly wouldn’t count on this each time.
You are stealing the blankets and pillows.
Fyi, you can't take the blankets and pillows. 🤨🥴
So that is what some people are saying by the flight attendants clearly saw me taking them and said nothing to me. From now on, I won't take them tho😊
In flight review would have been much better then this chatty thing
