Thanks for watching! This was my first 4K video with a new camera. Thanks to my Patrons for funding upgrades to the channel. I hope you appreciate them :) What songs would you want to hear from your 3D printer?
Pikachu's extruder clogged? I hurt myself in confusion (blisters on my hands from heat of extruder and force of me trying to shove a metal rod down into it)
The more impressive feat would be to actually print something but also making it play a song :P Just extruding while doing this will give you a spaghetti monster :P

As a confirmed listener of the Pokémon battle theme (dubstep remix) for a good 2 years when i was in middle school, I can say this is insanely accurate and I cannot believe you actually did this perfectly. You deserve more than just views on youtube, Devin.
"This took me 120 hours, I hope it was worth it" Song starts at 1:00 and ends at 4:00 4 mins - 1 min = 3 mins 3 mins x 100,000 views = 300,000 mins = 5,000 hrs yep worth it
I wonder if with 3 steppers + the extruder motor, you can produce enough frequencies simultaneously to make something that could be recognized as speech....
Nathan Toews I would except for the fact that I’m still learning the program and have never been the best with modeling, I’m getting there though, also I only have black n white filament so I’ll have to order some other colors soon Also I don’t think I could make one for my printer as it would cover up that fan, I’d have to figure out the best way of keeping the airway open
@@tingcraft3920 fair enough. Practice makes perfect. You'll get there. As for air flow. I dont t know your printer. But just allow the custom print head to hang away from the printer a little allowing maybe 10-15mm of air flow from all sides. Should be plenty as the surface area of the fan itself would be less than that.
The video looks nice and crisp! I absolutely love this video more than words can describe. So cool that they can sing the battle theme like that! Great job!
My Prusa MK2 makes funny noises that ressemble 8bits video games. I have been thinking of writing GCode to play music but I have never done it. Awesome work you did there, it's fun to listen to. I've watch it multiple times
1 - Hit start on both at the same time (while adding a simple sync tone M300 code to check) 2 - hit record on camera 3 - mess up and curse a bit 4 - try again 5 - try again 6 - try again (at this point you will feel the rage burning, but gotta get it done) 7 - try again 8 - you'll eventually succeed and got a nice video to show your friends.
@@codingrussell138 well, there actually is a difference in speed. You can notice that with the higher pitched tones he reaches the end point sooner, so those notes are sometimes cut short for lack of axis length.
TFW you want to try this but your printer has TMC2208s :(. I don't think this would work even with them in spreadcycle. They don't really have the same type of buzz as an a4988.

What songs would you want to hear from your 3D printer?
Hi Devon what about Star wars theme
You're welcome! Video looks great. Pls do Schism by Tool 🔥🔥🔥
The sweet sound of silence thanks to silent stepper drivers and dampers :P
Metroid Brinstar theme.
Something like Imagine Dragons Natural. What do you think?
People: I want a quiet 3D printer

@@tjyoyo3 LOL

Supposed to be super effective
@@tjyoyo3 that sucks :(
So THAT'S what 3D printers are for! I've just been using mine as a giant expensive paper weight. Awesome video!

it's floppotron in the future

Just the fact that you can use 3D printers to make music is awesome!
We live in an incredible time, and for all the madness in the world right now, I am glad to be able to witness and understand this.

This music gives me post traumatic stress from the Elite Four. That’s okay.
I didn't think I could love your channel more than I already did. My gosh. This is the best thing I've ever seen
At the end, Jiggly puff used sing, It was super effective!
As someone who is not a fan of Pokemon I have to say....
Yes, it was worth it!
(120 hours? Wow!)
friend:what music do you listen to?
me: its complicated..
was anyone else sitting there listening to their own 3d printer and was like "Thats a catchy toon.... I wonder" and found this vid?
That's literally it. "3D printer music"
THIS... is what the internet was made for. Nicely done!
