Hey I just wanted to say thank you for being an amazing part of this community. I have not been in this community that long I started on March 24th of 2024 and I've only been flying for a little less than a year but you've been one of the people I've looked to. I just wanted to say thank you for being here. I'm a male going through a domestic violence relationship trying to get out with my son. On the verge of executing my safety plan and I'm scared I'm watching your video to help me get through things today thank you for being here.

Draaaaaaain maaaaaaaaan. Always love seeing new videos from you homie! what happened to the grills? You are one of the only people that were able to actually pull them off and look dope.

I have a very complex prescription and wear my glasses with the N3, and they are perfect. Not having to swap your glasses out when you take the goggles on and off is needed when you have a strong prescription. The N3s are the only DJI goggles that are any good for me.
Coming from the V2 goggles and also a glasses wearer, I got the N3. They took some getting used to, and I also had some trouble focusing at first. But, the detail and crispness of the display is pretty amazing. Great review!
Love this video and it really helped me decide that the N3 is the way to go for me since i only want to fly my Neo in FPV mode. What about the controller (or is there a video on that already) i understand the FPV RC3 is the only way to get manual mode. That being said, for a FPV noob, is the motion 3 even worth getting? Thanks for your answer in advance
Great video and me been an analog guy I mostly have analog drones and and analog goggles and hdzero goggles and now for the first time I got me the dji goggles 3 and waiting for the 04 unit pro so Im really happy that I got them.
I had an Avata 2 but returned it. I recently bought the Neo and the N3 and am very pleased. The image quality is great. The ONLY thing I miss is being able to adjust the eye width. But honestly the G3 are not worth the extra money in my opinion.
Yooo i havnt seen a vid from you in a min lol,. ur ELRS vid came in clutch. I have the V2s for my carbon quads with o3 but i have the Avata 2 and goggles 3. looking 4word to doing a new build with o4. Goggles 3 are awesome, those N3 goggs dont look like much imo, more for gps pilots. I love my V2s!
And here I am still rocking my Goggles v1 with my original air units and vistas. About ready to upgrade to 04 and I've been wondering how goggles 3 actually fit the face whether they flop around or not.
I got into the hobby in May/June with the avata 2 that had the goggles 3 included so I lucked out with that. I just had to wait a bit before I bought my first BNF with the o3 due to compatibility then getting the major issue ironed out. After getting the BNF I got the urge to build one myself because I wanted certain parts and had plans for what parts and how I’ll build. On my 2nd build now and I already have parts for another one. It may be the start of a corvetteless mid life crisis for me🤷🏼♂️🤣 only more cost efficient 😉
I have the g3 and the are great. I think it is important to remember the price when thinking about the n3. They are less than half the price of the g3. They don’t have a lot of the features but are supposed to be a budget goggle and are a way to get into a digital system for the price of decent analog goggles. You can get the n3 and a quad with an o4 air unit for the price of the g3.
Do the interchangeble diopter lenses that you can have made to suit your sight by an optoometrist that fit the Goggles 2 do the same ones fit the goggles 3 as well?
I know nothing about drones, I do not understand anything that's being said here. The thing is I won the Goggles N3 in a raffle and what I want to know is what do I need to buy to use the goggles? my budget is $200
I still mostly fly Vistas with the V2 goggles. I have the Goggles 2 and an o3 Air Unit, but I don't like it much. The range on the vista with the Goggles 2 sucks, so I just use the V2 goggles. I did order an o4 air unit, the small single board one and I'll see how I like that with the Goggles 2.
I havnt upgraded firmware on my g2 since before the first avata came out . If I upgrade will I still be able to control transmission rate on my vistas ? Seems like that was a downfall of upgrading so I never did
Sucks u need 2 pairs of goggles to fly all day with the goggles 3 but luckily for me 3 hours should be plenty for me. Havent upgraded yet but im digging my vistas and v2 goggles!
I feel like I'm starting to see the DJI tendencies here where forward progress is made at the same time they are losing yards. It would make sense for them to make a Goggles 3 V2's or something eventually. The Goggles 3 ditches easy battery swapping, lowers the main camera FOV, includes the PIP which is basically worthless due to the PIP FOV, and gives this smaller screen which IMO doesn't make high res or quality screens all that important. I got the Goggles 3 cause I wanted to future proof any possible DJI purchases but it's not like I'm going to use those instead of my V2's when pairing to an O3. If I didn't plan on any possible DJI drone purchases in the future I would def have gone with the N3's. Among all these dang Goggles DJI has shown me what I think is a perfect setup but I highly doubt that would ever come to fruition. If the G3's had a screen like the V2's, the same FOV, easily swappable antennas, and didn't feel like they could easily flap off my face then I'd probably call them the master goggles. Beyond that they are an impressive piece of engineering that I'm sure many people will love.
Bravo bravo bravo!!!! DJI FPV goggle V2 ALL THE WAY TO FTW!!! I do have 2 of DJI Air Unit 03 system on my 2 freestyle drones and it's the BESSSSST of the BEST.... At least to my opinion, but would LOVEEEEE to have DJI Air Unit 04 Pro system and i would but N3 goggle to fly with 04 but will not stop flying with my 03, hell naw! This 03, system just too goooooooooood to stop flying with 03 system, it's no brainer, so yeah i would love to have 04 pro system for the heck of my passsssssssion of flying an FPV drones!!! I would said my DJI FPV goggle V2 is STILL like a champ 🏆 to me 👍🏼 😂 🤙🏼
Whats up drain what micro sd cards do you use and how many gigs im new to this got the goggles 3 on the way and 04 since I'm new i went with the newest release
N3 is probably not suitable for all glasses wearers. Mirrors can be manufactured with significantly less loss and at a much lower cost than lenses. This is due to the simpler shape of a mirror. In addition, the user can never adjust the lens optics perfectly. In theory, box goggles should have a better image than lense goggles if the same display technology (e.g. OLED) is used and the image processors are equally powerful. There are of course disadvantages to box. Larger construction. The display that is on top can sometimes be easily noticed with a simple construction, but usually the senses remain on the image in front. But it can be distracting a little bit in some situations. I would prefer box and I don't wear glasses. I just like the development of stereoscopic 3D, here I think that is maybe not possible with box goggles...
are you aware of any issue within the goggles v2 that would prevent a future firmware update to allow the v2 to work with the o4 pro? i have the v2 and i just bought the n3 goggles. thanks in advance
The issue would be that DJI is very likely never going to try making V2's compatible with the O4. They didn't even do that at first with the G3's and the O3.
Ahh dude I am so bummed. I was hoping the new N3 was going to fit over your glasses. I have a bad astigmatism and can't see shit without my glasses. I am rocking goggles V2 now and can live with them. Now to do o4 I have no idea what to do. I was really hoping there would be an update for the V2 just for us that are rockin glasses and have big antennas. I very much want to get the o4 pro for my pavo20 and am excited for the idea of the cheap 04 for some tiny whoop fun.
I really wouldn't be that hard to to replace the batteries with a barrel connector. i had seen someone do it with the integra. it kinda annoyed me at first until i started using the integra and realized it was actually kinda nice not having to worry about a battery in my pocket.
@@MachuPichuu ok that‘s actually nice. I really hoped that there are any optical/QoL mods for the G3s like a new face foam (I know it sits on ur forehead, but the rubber feels/looks cheap and looks ugly) the thing with the battery is definitely a plus! Hope there will be tutorials in the future :)
Do me a favor In the name of science, please take the rubber face foam off the Goggles 3 and try them on the older Goggles V2 to see how they fit. I'm curios. I'll be rockin' the V2's until they don't work no more, and the good face foams are getting harder to come by.
@@DrainManFPV Thanks. I was curios if they were close and had the same velcro backing. Maybe some of the aftermarket ones will. I fear the options for the V2's will run out soon. And the only ones on the market that fit me wear out too fast.
i was looking so forward to get the N3. then i tried them on and they dont fit my face at all! absolute terrible. DJI didnt learn anything after all these years of western customer complain they cant fit anybody except asian faces. got the G3 which are better. i loved my V2 and i hope they can go back to that format with new tech inside.

@@DrainManFPV Yeah from what I read it will also run off power bank as well so if your super low on battery you don't need to worry about the goggles draining faster than it can charge. Though I would suggest getting a good USB cable just to be safe.
Correction should be made to this video. You can use the goggles 3 with DJI O3 and DJI O4. You will not be able to use vista and RunCam link or old OG air unit.
