Highly recommend the serpent and the wings of night, it was one of my fav reads from last year! And yes to one dark window that was another of my favs…probably my fav actually XD I wasn’t a big fan of the book eaters purely because there wasn’t that much of an actual fantasy element to it and the horror was kinda minimal imo but I know some folk love it!
