Excellent video... and 25 minutes is not too long! I regularly watch much longer tutorials...
Very nicely done Brian, content with value. I am confident that this will help out those new to Brewfather and/or those new to brewing software too.
Thanks David!! 👍🍻
Smashed it dude! Watched till the end, best one you've done so far! Keep them coming!
Thanks brother! 👍🍻
Super helpful video. Between you and David Heath, great explanations of how to use this software.
Good video, I watched till the end. Every time I make a new recipe I figure out more about Brewfather. This video gives me more info to use on my next batch coming soon.
Awesome!! Glad you found it helpful! Thanks for watching! 👍🍻
Wow! That was super-helpful. Thanks Brian!
👍🍻
Watched it. My mind is now active and I have learned SO Much. Thank You. Way better than any training instructors at work.
Haha thanks! It does help that you were interested in the topic being taught.. 😁👍🍻
Great stuff. Been using grainfather for a couple years now. So nice to use and keep track everything. Really has helped me improve my brews.
Yes! I do like it myself! 👍🍻
Great video Brian! I've had Brewfather on my phone for months, but I've struggled to figure it out. You break it down and make it super simple to follow along. Cheers!
Great!! Glad it was helpful! 🍻👍
Great video Brian, Done done an all grain porter kit and used brewfather to get it bang on the money with my kit. Great how to. Cheers
Thanks!! 👍🍻
Nice work Brian! I moved to Brewfather this past year and I love having the web access on any device. I build by recipes on my laptop when I have time and then I typically just use my iPad to run Brewfather and play music on brew days. Very thorough explanation of all the features.
Thanks! That's one of the things I love about the software is that you can move from device to device. Don't know if you've tried it or not but you can start your Brew Day on your laptop and then move to your phone and all the timers are in sync!! I really like that part! 👍🍻
Made it to the end, Cheers Brian!
Haha thanks man! Hope you found it useful! 👍🍻
Good stuff Brian. Thank you
Thank you! 👍🍻
Good stuff. I wish I could have watched a video like this when I first signed up with Brewfather.
Thanks for your time.
Thanks!! Sorry it took so long to get it out there! 👍🍻
This was a great walkthrough and you explained things very well, even a beer smith guy like me can understand
Haha beersmith?? Thanks Trent! 👍🍻
Thanks Brian, great video. Still learning this software. This gives me some things to think about for future brews.
Awesome Glad you found it helpful! 👍🍻
Great video, very direct content but still well explained. Thanks a lot.
Welcome!
Great vid Brian! Thanks!
Thanks for watching! 👍🍻
Dude!! Confirmed 90% of what I have been doing!!! This along with David heaths video are a must. Great video on yours and David heaths, between the two I am on it!!!
Thanks- great vid.

Awesome to hear! Yes @david heath had some great videos on it too! 👍🍻
Great video, as always. I really like Brewfather too, modern and slick.
Thanks! Hope it helps! 👍🍻
Thanks Brian. That was really helpful. I just started looking at Grainfather still doing extract but moving to all grain, and have not used it yet
It's r really great software! 👍🍻
Really useful! Same steps I took to really dial in Brewfather!
Nice! Glad to hear it's working for you! 👍🍻
It was good, it will not hurt to have more of it 😊
Good video 👍
Thanks
Haha thanks! I'll remember that!
Definitely gonna watch the the whole video when I get off work and get home. I need practice with Brewfather.
👍🍻
Great information, thank you.
👍🍻
Lots of good info
Thanks! 👍🍻
Thanks. That was very helpful.
Glad you liked it! 👍🍻
Great video and very informative! Would be super helpful if you could do a part 2 of the video, going over the water calculations section at the bottom and provide recommendations on how to select and adjust each of the different kind of salts.
Will be doing a video on that coming in the near future! 👍🍻
this is a lot easier than trying to muddle through alone.
That's exactly why I made the video. Thanks for the comments! 👍🍻
Excellent video. Made it all the way through.....twice
Haha!! Nice! Thanks for watching! 👍🍻 (Twice)
Great info
Glad you enjoyed!
Great thanks for that
Nice video mate
Thanks! ,👍🍻
Great video Brian! When you added the hop stand hops I think you forgot to change the time on those. The default is 60 minutes, I believe the recipe called for 10-15 minutes. So your IBU’s are probably a little higher than intended haha!
You know maybe I didn't I thought I did it but. Maybe that was the first time I did it before I did the video.. lol thanks!
That video couldn't be more on the spot! I'm planning to brew a Belgian Dubbel this weekend, so I entered everything in the Brewfather app, but I realized while watching this video that I didn't enter everything correctly (brew volume: kettle vs fermenter). Hope that I'll be right on spot when it comes to my numbers this Saturday!
Awesome!! Let me know how it goes! 👍🍻
@@ShortCircuitedBrewers in the end, the brew day went super smoothly, even if I didn't get my numbers quite right: my mashing efficiency was better than I anticipated (85% Vs 75%), which got my preboil gravity way higher than I was expecting. During the boil, the evaporation rate was a bit lower than I thought (2l/hour Vs 3l/hour), so it compensated a bit. In the end, I have a bit more than 20/21l of wort with an OG of 1.075, while I was expecting to get 20l with an OG of 1,070
@@edouardmaisonneuve8446 that's not a bad problem to have. Now you have a little more data to work with!! 👍🍻
Really good video Brian. I have heard that when you brew a batch with Brewfather and enter your "achieved" numbers (e.g. losses etc) there is a way you can save the resulting efficiencies back to your requirement profile, thus dialing in your kit with each brew.
Do you know any more about this and how it can be done?
Love your channel. Thanks.
Awesome stuff :9
Thanks!!
How did you get your lintner scale to pop up on the screen under fermentables? Thanks. Great videos.
Nicely done braj. I'd be interested in a follow up video to explain how to dial in your expected mash efficiency etc on new recipes based on results of a few brews.
Thanks I'm definitely doing more videos on it. 👍🍻
Hi have got a video on how to use the yeast calc section of brew father. Trying to figure out if a starter is a better option than buying numerous yeast packets. Thanks
Great video. I been brewing 20 years now. But amazingly, I have never used any software. Just always did manual way. But am considering options to electronic way
It is great software. 👍🍻
Thanks Brian, wanting to switch to all grain and you made seem less intimidating. I have a better understanding how the ingredients change the final product
Good! Glad it helped! 👍🍻
Made it that far!
Haha awesome!! It was a long one.. thanks for watching! 👍🍻
Brian, it’s a good German name: “ie” = long e sound… breeeess. Nice video, all the way to the end.
Haha thanks on both! 👍🍻
@@ShortCircuitedBrewers you betcha 👍 🍺
Thank you Brian for the video very good. Yes I use a lot of kits and I feel a lot of times if I’m off, I just didn’t put the correct volume of batch size in brew father. It would be great if brew father had a feature to Pull the kits down into the app. Are usually just play with the Apple little bit to get the data that I want. Unfortunately you have to put those in yourself. Thanks again for the videos enjoy your content
Thanks!! 👍🍻
Thanks . this is really very useful. I decided to try a Xmas Ale kit from northern Brewer and I was wondering exactly how to bring that to brewfather, Your detailed explanation helped a lot. Kit recipe really lack information ... For instance what water profile should I use , since the kit for the Festivus Miracle all grain does not say the "style". I am going to guess a Belgian strong ale ... Thanks again !
Welcome!! 👍🍻
Regarding yeast starters - I’m still perplexed on how to measure how much yeast I’m actually pitching given that I can’t decant all the liquid, or that I may lose some yeast while trying to decant. If you haven’t already, could you do a video that focuses on that topic? Many thanks for all the current content!
Added to the list!
Hey I like to see your brew lab, where the sausage is made.
Thanks! 👍🍻
What value do you have entered for grain absorption for the Anvil? I ask because this determines how much strike water to add to the mash...
I leave the standard brew father setting..but take notes and adjust as needed. 👍🍻
@@ShortCircuitedBrewers Gotcha thanks. Also I haven't tested it out yet, but do you think the gallon etchings inside are accurate?
@@funkybrewer6298 close enough for government work! 😁👍🍻

Brian, Appreciate the video as I’ve struggled with Brewfather for sure. I’m still a bit confused as I believe NB meant 6 gallons in the fermentor accounting for trub loss. If you’re at 100% power at 240v using your extension/surge protector cord of course 😀 your burning 1 gallon per 60 min, you’re still going to be way off using your 6 gallons to start off with. If I following the anvil guide in the destructions 8.2 gallons/16 lbs recommended for no sparge. Would you agree? Wish I could figure out water amount calculations in brewfather for theAnvil, just not very intuitive for us rookies.
Just use the min max measurements like I did in the video.
I need to watch the video for the 3rd time
@@paulsaulsbury438 lol ok
It's not going anywhere! 👍🍻
Been out of the game for a while. What seems to be the best all in one at the most reasonable prices relative to what the system does?
I highly recommend BrewFather! 👍🍻
