Be sure to do the step up that gives UR guaranteed before rerolling do two beginner quests to get enough Visiore to complete it! Go into your missions tab for the Visiore and you’ll have to go there again after doing some summons for the full step up!
Looks like for release they got rid of the New Game button you know, for funsies lol so now you have two choices. Delete game data or uninstall and reinstall the app!
Apologize for the misleading info on the reroll BUT that’s how it was in the beta that I played in like a month ago.
Android (Non-Rooted) App Info > Clear Data || Android (Rooted) File Manager > Data > Data > WOTVffbeww > files > delete pinfo || iOS Delete App and Reinstall
For what to roll on do the step up summon. Do two beginner quests, the green tree leaf thing on the main menu, from there do the step up till you cant anymore. Go to missions and collect currency repeat till you finish step up and then reroll. If you still can't finish step up due to not getting 15 total units missions do more beginner quests!
Its 4 Beginner missions if you do not get 15 units, 2 if you do :D

@@ClaicYuzolt1 Thanks for the effort on this. One more thing thou, even with rooted Emu there is no "pinfo" to delete.. do we have to log in with Google/Facebook? Cuz I keep going in as Guest. Really unsure about this game. I feel like it could be fun as a casual tactics game. But the whole gacha and grind aspect of it doesn't seem to be a lot of fun.
And Gumi already started screwing around with removing the new game button. Imma stick around because I want to like the game but damn. It ain't easy

True, but JP didn't get all this guaranteed UR stuff at the start like we have. All they got was a free 10 shot. The Thancred issue is already being handled better too
@@Tetsuya21 It remains to be seen how Gumi handles this in the future. For me the biggest issue is the gacha / character progression. It just feels odd.

I hate rerolling so once I got sterne I was like f this im out lol. Good to know I should be only focusing on one or two units because I don't have the patience I just want to play the game

Just started a week ago, got pretty lucky with maxing out (lvl99) on tidus, working on viktora (I love the dragoon class) but my question is, area weapon boxes worth the 2-3k? I'm not sure if they are worth investing into so figured I'd ask
One caveat I found to this was if you're desperate to get the rainbow rocks and yarnballs before they disappear from shops, doing a 10x summon on the Shadowbringers banner can give you 20 banner medals which you can turn in for 20 gold gil snappers (1 per medal) which is a really big chunk of change. I only did it once paired with using a strong friend unit to do the high level gil dungeon and have been able to afford both the rocks and yarn so far, from the first shop and now the million download celebration shop.
There's also some monthly missions for gil snappers now, for completing Story Quests. If you've been stocking up on tickets and need specific job pieces anyway, it might be worth it to spam some Story Skip tickets so you can pick up the rare materials before the shops close.

Hey Claic! Thanks for the video, good to know! Thankfully with the step-up banner, and the 10+ tickets, I was able to get a Mediena and an Engelbert, so I'm happy with that! I'll be saving my visiore for future stuff. ^_^

I think there’s probably a line to download the game right now on iOS cuz of all of the people doing rerolls (just speculation) 🤔
I have Sterne from my step up summons, should I then buy his 40 shards for 2000 gems?
Im actually okay with only focusing on a couple of units at a time, its an interesting change of pace from the immediate everchanging meta of other gacha games
Hey Claic, I re-rolled couple of times and got an Ayaka from a 10 summon (not guaranteed UR summon). Guess I should not be pursuing Mediena. However, a question: would you recommend that I collected the visiore up to 2000 and finished the step-up summon to get the guaranteed UR? And is there a difference between the last step of the step-up and the 2000 visiore guaranteed UR limited-time banner?
Yes do the step up. The other guaranteed are paid Visiore only

Started with only 1 UR unit (Gilgamesh) and felt was horrid so I did 1 reroll and got 4 UR units through tutorial, step up, and all tickets 2nd round- Mediena, Gilgamesh, Sterne, and Xiza. Idk if I should reroll to try get Ayaka via rerolls or maybe spend visiore on that UR guarantee release commemoration summon for a chance. Or should I save visiore now for TG Cid?
I am investing fully into Y'shtola and waiting for Orlandeau. However, I have Mediena...... I know she is better but I just love Y'shtola.
sorry to dissapoint you but yshtola falls off really hard the more the time passes, shes not top tier damage and shes is super frail, more frail than the average mages
I don’t have mediena yet, I was having a hard time choosing between Y’shtola and margritte, tbh Y’shtola just seems good in the beginning, she’s kinda trash in the long game.

Got Medina and Gilgamesh in my first roll. Might grind Thancred but not sure just yet as he’s limited. Kinda want Ayaka but idk if I should yolo 1 more pull before I start saving for tactics. Any suggestions? My units are dying to the skeletons in the 4th shadowbringers event stage

Since you played the jp version you seen further in the game I have a question for you, is there a point in the game that is good to have more than 5 good character and bunch of same element good character? Like events that will make you use your whole roster in strategic ways? Thanks
Yes this is something to slowly be working towards as end game content so you can take advantage of chaining and elemental advantage. On top of that there will be a tower event where you’ll need a ton of characters maxed to take it on!

How good is Oelde Leanis? Got him as my 5th Ur character l. My line up is Mediena, Gilgamesh, Ayaka, Engelbert and Oelde Leonis.
One question, I am having quite a hard time getting a nice reroll, the 2 I'm currently holding on are a 4 UR reroll with Ayaka, the monk lady, Aileen and Hourne princess, and another one with only Mediana and the Solidus captain, but each of them have a dupe. Suggestion on which is better to keep?
Anyway nice video, gave me quite an insight on what to expect from this game.

I know this is old but yes. Though you would have to create a new FB account, game doesn't let you unlink.
Are healers even needed in the team? My main team consists of URs which are all attackers (Sterne, Robb, Frederika, Gilgamesh, Oelde). So far I don't really see a huge need for a healer (because healers don't even heal that much for some reason). I do have others but I like this team because they are all different elements so I can focus on awakening them without worrying too much about farming for the prisms and such.
So... Should I just stick to these main units and make them tankier or switch one out for a dedicated healer?
Early game no but late game you will need a healer guaranteed

So i am f2p and did the summons . I got 1 UR from every summon (1000 , 1500 n 2000) Now i have 5 different UR units but none of them was Medeina. Do you think it’s still worth it to Reroll for Medeina ? N is it even wise to run a team with all UR units ?

I am very lucky, on my very 1st reroll, I got mediena with the tutorial summoning, Rob and Gilgamesh on the same x10 pull ! And Eileen + another UR monk waifus have been added in my collection. This is an absolute GOD roll.
I have played three days so far. Done with chapter four.. Kinda fast how you go thru chpts like water. I agree with you. Better to save and save and save and then splurge big. That's how I always play my rpgs. The perks you get from royal rank up via credit card also good. They make huge difference. A big petk being able to go on several chocobo expeditions at once. 😎.

Can you do a guide on how exactly to max out Y'shtola for the current event? How many shards do we need (total), if we need to buy any limited awakening materials from the shop, and about how much time/visiore we are going to need to get her to max?
I know Thancred is crazy expensive, but right now I didn't pull Mediena (got Engelbert and Gilgamesh) so Y'shtola is my go-to mage (and she is really good, but I'd hate to have to stop investing in her in the future...)
I think you need 600 shards BUT unsure because she is MR it could be less UR are 600 I know for sure to max out.
3500 visiore (step up) and free ticket stuff got golem, ifrit, 1 ur vision card, ayaka, stern, and gilgamesh.
tried 2000 visiore in stern & gilgamesh banner got mediena and gilgamesh..
now i've save 8000 visiocore,, is it worth make gilgamesh limit break +2? (this will cost 8000 visiore from release commemoration shop T.T)
Currently running Mediena, Thancred, Machérie, Aileen, and Y'shtola squad. Almost all 6* awakened and Limit broken. Having both Mages with tanks like Thancred & Aileen and Machérie on support makes them unstoppable.
If leveled correctly Thancred's regen and cure can make him handle teams solo.
Really help full ill just focus on my two tanks
Are they still giving free visiore on playing multiquest for meeting new players the first time? i have observe i am not getting free visiores anymore. Last time i was at meeting 120 players (i think) and after that, no more free visiores. was wondering if it has a cap or mine is broken? (-_-')

I got the game, rerolled once when I got not UR's, and now I have Oelde. That seems sub ideal, but I do NOT want to reroll. I think I'd rather get a tooth pulled than have to deal with that crap. Hopefully, I can make this work.

I hate the fact that they removed the delete button. I ended up sticking with the first account, which I mistakenly linked to my Google email, because deleting and re-rolling was such a pain. On top of that. I kept getting trashy units on all the rerolls. So I just gave up and sticker to the linked account since I got Edelgert and Macehere there.

Seeing as this game needs us to have character shards should we refresh the shop with Visiore so that we can eventually find and buy the shards of the unit/s we want to raise?
You can but I’d just let it happen so you don’t waste the Visiore it gets progressively more costly
Beginners Hall is quick you say? When the hell does it end? Im on mission 13 and kind of just want the tutorial to end already. We have very different ideas of what is quick.

He is decent for sure! The problem is trying to get all his shards before the event is gone and just starting out its difficult!
@@ClaicYuzolt1 Keep in mind all characters have their Character Story Stage released so if you miss out then you must farm the remaining shards from his character story stage after the event.
@@orrthehunter oh so for instance like me i have both y'shtola and thancred which concludes the characters in the ffxiv collab when the event ends im able to farm their shards in the future?
@@TerraNovaXV You can unlock the Character stages right now if you can make them reach level 40 and progress far enough in the Main Storyline which can be done with Star Ranking them. Character stages are found in the World Map where you obtain side quests and Hard Mode stages.
These stages will be key for maxing Event characters after their event ends.

Can't for the life of me figure out how to do this on my Pixel 2. Clearing Cache and Storage in App Info doesn't work, nor does clearing them then reinstalling. I hit new game and it says the account on this social platform is already bound to another players account.
when first starting any gatcha game always use a guest account instead of your google/email. If you bind that then you can't unbind that account without contacting the company and asking them to reset your account for you. so always, ALWAYS use a guest account. You can bind whatever google account/social media account later on if you don't like your results.

I was thinking if I should buy 40 shards for Thancred (4k visiores) or just save up for The Tactics collab
And you know, the best part is after you limit break your unit, the next limit break need x2 shards than before. Its hard as hell...
First limit break need 40 for UR unit. Second time need 80. I dont know how much at for third or until fifth limit break...
600 total shards to fully Lb a UR
i managed to get Mediana, Xiza, Ayaka, and Gilgamesh on my 1st reroll yeah i guess im keeping this account. ^_^
however beyond this is just my opinion
I still can't shake the feeling of it going down the same path at TAC its probably the depressing fact that TAC was too much for me, the endless grind hoping to raise a team that could stand on against the new contents and weekly events, i quit that game after a year or two after the kaigan era (somewhere about a total of 3 or 4 years maybe after day 1 of the game? yeah lets just say i played it hard back then)
Right now WOTV FFBE is doing good seeing that the devs were generous with the daily log in rewards, the grind is there but i can let that pass for now, seeing they release the hard quests for units the same time they are on the banner is a good sign and i hope it will stay like this, however having played TAC i predict we'll be getting the same treatment.
this is just my opinion and prediction and i hope it won't come to this, right now we see almost the same basic tier job class in TAC and is likely to go forward with completing the first batch of job classes, the next is that its going to get the 2nd wave of job class (i.e. we will see basic jobs like monk getting an improved version on a new unit and migt make units with other old units with basic jobs frail in comparison), after that we see more units with their own unique individual classes, then a stage 2 awakening mechanic implemented by giving units unique skills and more stats (which would make units harder to max out which is bad for players who wants to go the F2P route because a this point the amount of in game currency we get is so small after copleting all missions, parameter, and goal rewards), then the arrival of EX job classes and the enhancement of some old units to make them viable again (we might see the likes of Aileen getting her own unique job events and classes and so will other old units at this point), and then a "memento" mehanic will be implimented to that of which you need to pull for, this and can be the difference between victory or defeat in PVP content after that the arrival of back to back units (some may even be seasonal or literally time limited and really expensive to raise) which will be on top tier class with events that will demand these new units if you want to make things easier, after that its just going to spiral down with collabs and events being ridicuously hard, i really do hope we don't go down this path i guess well just see in the future
I'm not used to this style of game design where you have to get the unit AND invest so much into it so watching this video was useful. I feel bamboozled though, I was super hyped because I got Gilgamesh but apparently he's whale bait? Feelsbadman. The one I want to invest in right now is that monk girl, it's the closest thing to Ling that I'll have!
so its like alchemist code, instead of going for every new unit you invest on certain ones
